i'm into the Metalcore and Hardcore punk scene. But this is def. The best accoustic song i've ever listen to. Depression was my friend for maybe 10 years. I'm clean now. This lyrcis mean so much to me.

Hab` so geweint...ehrlich dies ist mir lange nicht mehr passiert, dass ich die Fassung verliere und ....bin gerade zu Hause, von dem so wunderbaren Konzert...heute morgen, ehrlich...ich hatte keine Lust..wollte einfach meine Füße hochlegen und jede Ausrede wäre mir willkommen gewesen, war fast muksch, weil die Ausreden nicht da waren..Gott sei Dank, so ein emotionales Konzert durfte ich erleben. Rea & Band...soooo gut, mir fehlen die Worte. Ihr ward so da. Für das Publikum, für Eure Familie. Ihr ward einfach echt. Ahhh...nicht in Worte zu fassen, wie ich dies meine.

I added this song to my spotify list years ago. Never really gave it any thought, and mostly skipped the song every time it came up. Well, I'm not doing so well right now. Actually, I haven't been doing so well in a long time. Today I went to see a person who handles these things and she said that I am depressed. So, as I went home, glad to hear that I'm not in a normal condition, I played that playlist again and this song came up. I didn't skip it. I listened it. And I loved it. This song with these lyrics really gives me hope and will to survive this stupid ass sickness. Thank you.

Ich bin absolut kein Rea Garvey-Fan. Aber das war der Beweis für mich, dass der Mann richtig Musik machen kann, wenn er will. Hammer Song. Johnny Cash würde feuchte Augen kriegen, wär ich mir sicher!

*aufzeig* ich zum Beispiel. Das Leben ist nicht einfach, nein, und es ist nicht fair. Es wird auch nicht irgendwann sicher gut, und manche schaffen es nie, egal wie oft sie wieder aufstehen und sich abmühen. Trotzdem finde ich das Lied tröstlich, denn so *bescheiden* mein Leben auch ist, auch ich hab Genuss Momente die ich ich jetzt wieder versuche bewusster wahrzunehmen, und sei es nur der Gedanke an eine sanfte Briese die mich streichelt. Und: it ain't over till it's over. Dauernd passieren mir völlig unerwartete Dinge. Die meisten knüppeln mich nieder, machen mir zumindest das Leben schwer. Aber es könnte ja auch irgendwann zufällig anders kommen, das Glück könnte auch mich erwischen. Unwahrscheinlich, sehr unwahrscheinlich, aber: nicht unmöglich. Auch die Euro Million wird geknackt, von irgendjemandem. "Die Hoffnung mag eintreffen oder nicht, so hat sie doch das Gute dass sie die Angst verdrängt". Und, ganz wichtig: "Hope is like love, a ridiculous, powerful, wonderful thing". Es braucht nur einen Funken. "There is a crack in everything: that's how the light comes in."
