One thing you should do while listening to The Warning is to pay attention to what they are saying in a song. Also, when the song was written & when they performed it. They premiered Narcisista in June 2019. Dany was 19, Pau 17 & Ale 14 in this video. After a long time a band is saying something substantial about today's society through its profound metaphorical poetry - mostly written by Pau. They make us pause & think with intelligent messages in their songs. Didn't Pau make you wonder as a Mexican who is a Malinchista? Or why she is using that word in the song? Here is my earlier review of Narcisista "How many 16 year olds have the guts to stand up to her critics & tell them to shut up instead of cowering away? Fed up with constant barrage from a section of the Mexican press about why they only sing in English, Pau wrote this acerbic riposte. The girls then presented the 1st draft to their mom for grammatical check in Spanish. Legend has it that Mony asked them to tone down the vitriol as she was afraid of the backlash her daughters might receive. However you can see the viciousness in Pau's presentation when The Warning debuted Narcisista at Foro in 2019 - aged 19, 17 & 14. You can see how they displayed the lyrics on a screen to vent their anger. You can see how Pau used her left hand to gesticulate theatrically to emphasise "Porque tú, no sabes nada Because you don't know anything Corres la voz y no te callas You run your mouth and don't shut up Me tapo los oídos y simplemente digo I cover my ears and just say" Cherry on the cake is when she rubs it in with "No soy loca ni Malinchista" or Neither am I mad nor Malinchista. Malinche was an Aztec (Nahua) woman who helped the Spanish conquerors in taking control of Mexico some 5 centuries back. Hence the term Malinchista for a woman who prefers foreign people, culture, goods, etc. over her own roots. A cultural turncoat if you like. Ahh...the delicious irony of time when on 16th June 2023 some 500 Spaniards joined Pau & her sisters to sing Narcisista and exactly those words for the 1st time in Madrid. The conquered have become the conqueror now."

Lo que me gusta del rock( que no soy experto ) , es que es difícil estar triste al cantar y tocar estos ritmos y al escucharlos también considero que es poco probable según yo mantenerse en un estado de ánimo pal perro ,ya que las escucho y me dan ganas de saltar. Me llama la atención que la dama que toca la batería básicamente es la que está cantando ,lo cual le reconozco y pienso que debe ser muy extenuante y difícil y si lo hace fácil debe ser seguro seguro por las horas y horas de practica . Soy patriota y me gusta ver a mi gente haciendo cosas que dezpedazen el molde de lo que “debería de ser “ Espero lleguen muy lejos , pero por encima de todo que disfruten cada momento. 👋🏻

Yes, they pick their own outfits to wear on stage. Both Dani and Ale have pants they wore for years, with the knees torn. The VMA/MTV show was the same, just a little more fancy because it was an awards show and they wanted to make a statement. Did they EVER. Even more so with the musical performance. The most common comment about the song NARCISISTA is...DON'T PISS PAU OFF!!!!
