I love how for the whole 8 episodes everyone is waiting to see who is going to betray Reacher, the show even dangles the chance of a traitor as a red herring, so is incredibly endearing how everyone in the SI loved each other and Reacher and betraying him was never an option for any of them.

Love this show but This show imo definitely jumped the shark with the helicopter bit cause no man is hanging onto that helicopter wheel no matter the adrenaline 😂

@@RedKingdom28 Yeah, the helicopter stunts were too far for me (kicking a car hard enough to deploy an airbag was also ridiculous, though not as bad). I won't say the show _as a whole_ has jumped yet; fortunately most of the action is more grounded.

9:26 “YES!!! THAT’S WHAT I WANTED!!!!!” is basically the definition of this show😂 Almost every cathartic moment you want to see comes to pass Ending this season with Simple Man was absolutely perfect. I cannot WAIT for the next season

You have to think of Reacher as Punisher. Don't hope for him to let people live just because. The reason he didn't kill the Seals/Rangers is only because they where witnesses against the senator. He didn't need witnesses against the rest of the operation because he killed everyone involved.

And the reason they shot down the helicopter is they were directly involved with the deaths of the team - because they were working for the contractor.

If it is set in Maine, it is probably based on one of Lee Child's short stories "Too Much Time" published in 2018.

Next season is the Persuader. Really a dark, dangerous spot that Reacher finds himself in.

Sad that this is over now. Obviously I love the whole crew reacting to things together, but there's also something I really like about small little groups like this, or Eric and Rick with Lost, or Eric and Aaron with the Arrowverse, etc.

If no one has already mentioned, season 3 is based off the book "Persuader". I just finished reading it recently, so I'm definitely excited to see how they're going to adapt it!

Its definitely managing to maintain that feels of 80s cavalier hero that gets away with seriously iffy actions. But its badass so its fiiiine. It was really dark tho so it made for great discussion. Cant wait for season 3.

I don't think they adapted the book as well this season. It got complicated in weird ways, to me. But maybe if I hadn't read the book I would think this season was great, so idk. Some of the books are better than others and I liked the one season 3 is based on, so hopefully it's good too.

If you look at 5:58 where the guard falls to the ground and Neagly is in the background, you can actually see that the bottle she dropped is already smashed on the ground even though its supposed to still be midair. They must've forgot to sweep it up before doing that shot

I'm not really a fan of how of how Langston goes out here. Much too quick for someone they've been building up. I prefer how they did it in the books.

Yeah I agree! You go back to episode where Langston had Franz thrown from helicopter Franz was giggling said he was wondering what the big guy is going to do to you well the death of Langston didn’t meet that expectation from then on

@australianwi-fi It's not MUCH different in the book. He gets a gun on Langston (who has a different name) in the front seat so he has longer to think about it. Then Reacher beats him up a little as a way to get him to fall out the helicopter, rather than just pushing him. Tbh, I liked a few things in the book better than this season, but it was still entertaining.

@@australianwi-fi If I remember correctly, Reacher really draws it out. He kicks Langston's ass so much so that he can't stand straight (not sure if he broke his legs) then strapped HIM to the stretcher. Reacher then tilts the stretcher little by little and undoes the strap, so that Langston is helpless and tries to walk on his (possibly broken) legs on to have them give out and lead him to fall out

@@bleepy013 Ya, in the book the door was on the side of the helicopter, so the pilot had to do a rotation trick to maneuver the sliding door open and closed.

Nah, the only time Reacher's involved with the same woman over more than one book was like book 3 and 4, otherwise he loves 'em and leaves 😂

You never liked the show in the first place if a fictional character being part of something in a fictional tv show ruins it for you. Not the story, not the directing, but the fictional background of the character? Lol gtfo

@@carrela1000 Are you one of those freaks with pronouns in your bio? Maybe if you served with or in support of folks in Bat or an ODA you would understand. Instead your an entitled tub of goo living in a bubble of your own making. The story is ruined the moment the fake operators arrive, its cringey even worse then the other military flashbacks. Oh and I did serve with MPs from 110th Ft Carson - they werent CID but this suspension of reality in this episode is so much worse.
