KG has always had the 'Fighting' spirit. Even when she was called the worst dancer, she took that criticism head on. She keeps working on her skills and improving. I know this song required a guitar and we don't get to see her dancing. But I do hope to see more of her dancing in the future. Gina should've performed to her strengths and performed "Mr Roboto" and JYP would've said "wow, you were very robotic and captured the essence of a true robot, I don't know how any human can be so precise and unemotional"=== I'm just kidding. I know Gina has had problems with expressing herself. Cristina was awesome, and so much energy. I love seeing her perform. I think everyone agrees that Camila is a natural, she is an all rounder and has great leadership. I really think Camila is unstoppable and she will debut. Out of all the girls, Camila has no glaring weaknesses. 🤩

Camila...is an absolute ACE. You can tell she checks all the requirement boxes in JYP's mind. She is also trilingual [EN,FR,SP]...quite helpful when promoting in the Americas. Both gina and Kaylee are so worried about being perfect on stage it's like they can't even be a person...kaylee has improved and imo I'm seeing her mentality has improved and gotten stronger since the LA Boot camp because she isa very high strung almost to the point of being neurotic type of personality but I'm very worried about gina at this point I do think she needs to talk to someone neutral and get a good cry and laugh out and really break open this stone wall she's in emotionally, speaking from experience I'm very worried for her not just in this but in general she needs to talk to someone because she can't talk to her parents it seems or like brother I think she said that she loves a lot so she needs emotional support

Gina is not worried at all. If she performs in front of a real audience, it will resolve itself. For Gina, Park Jin-young can never be an audience member. It's a little different from the other members. Because she is an official trainee. In her view, Park Jin-young looks much bigger. To put it simply, other trainees can easily talk to Jinyoung Park, make jokes, laugh, and make jokes. But Gina can't do that. It’s not because Park Jin-young is a scary person. If you belong somewhere and be at the bottom, you won't dare to go to the top. I can tell President Biden as many jokes and shake his hand as I want. But can government officials do the same? Gina's song was my anthem when I was at university in 2010, but the Chinese version (best one!❤❤❤❤ hate the kor and eng versions)~ I think she express herself better in group, when she is really solid and reliable but can relax. this cus she is really talented but also really young and used to keep m emotions to helself so... yes, was super stiff 😅

Very objective and positive, I feel like some people are going SO unnecessarily harsh on these girls 😭 I definitely agree with what you said about Gina's performance, I didn't feel much emotion in it either (especially watching it between Christina and Camila's performances). But I really do hope she can get that. I think in a group she does better at being natural, because that is what seemed to happen with the final performance of the LA Boot camp. Some people may thing that JYP is being extra hard on Gina and giving the other girls a pass, but I really don't think so. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, and he does a good job at pointing those out. People just see that she's good at the singing/dancing and assume that's all it takes, but he's made it clear a bunch of times already that he's looking for more factors than that.

I paste something I wrote on reddit today that someone downvoted too 😂😂😂😂 The whole point was KG exibition not being fair for someone (not me!) because she didn't dance. I wrote: She reminded me the system is kpop, but the group is american.she took a big risk so it wasn't that unfair imho, and making a different thing maybe would be a bit fake for her. We all thought "omg JYP's gonna be pissed". I think she is genuine in challenging herself with a new genre and made me smile because she didn't think it was strange for a kpop show 😂😂😂😂 Probably she also wanted to show she is unique and valuable in the group as very different from the others. For example when Cristina was rapping I thought for a second she and Savanna would play a similar role as very solid dancers and rappers. They also have the same hairstyle 😂😂😂😂 Then I think this evaluation was made to highlight their strengths and show what they came up with in half an year; what they value most and so on. She wants to be the songwriter or the group and will work hard on the dancing while in Korea with them.

Do we know if they chose the songs themselves? I assume they did, but I'm just curious.

I knew since ep 6 that Gina would be kicked out. Easy : JYP is always unfair with the same girls. Positive with the girls he wants : Kendall, KG, Kaylee Negative with the girls he doesn't want : Gina, Yuna The scam of EMOTIONs It's all about emotion (sometimes plural) in this episode. JYP never feels the emotion when Gina is performing. Easy : nobody can say "Yes you do". Nobody dare say : "You're not sensitive enough". I notice he never tells what emotions he is expecting. Neither do the trainers. Too bad that would have been so helpful. Look at Wonder girls and tell what emotions they deliver that Gina didn't. JYP requires from Gina spontaneous expressions, spontaneous movements. How could she do that in a group choreography. Trainees are trained to do the exact opposite: all the little fingers must have the same angle! Enough to be depressive, no ? Bad idea to be trained at JYP's if you want to be hired by JYP.
