Bro tbh i kept sleeping on this show until i just started watching this show out of curiosity what stand power is believe me this show is on another level than any other anime memes , Bizzare , animation , dialogues , music and powers everything are on par than any other anime

If I've learned something, Traitor's Requiem (the one before the newest one) is an opening that you don't really care for at first, but becomes your favorite once you've finished the part. The hype comes mainly from knowing the context from the show, so if you do a blind reaction on it, it's most likely going to be the most "meh".

What's nice about Jojo is that it never really does the same thing, each part and main Jojo is unique, so any of them could be your favorite and most other fans would call that fair. My fav part is 4 and Jotaro is my fav Jojo! Out of all the openings I like Great Days and Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town the most, gotta love disco ya know.

PLEEAASSE watch Jojo. You won't regret it. Also, it makes more sense once you watch it...except for part 5, it's just chaotic. It's 39 episodes that all take place in the course of 5 to 8 days.

You should watch jojo because whether intentionally or not, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is home to some outstanding - and outlandish - comedy. The unhinged premise of the series means that it can deliver moments of comedic alleviation with ease, all the while taking itself seriously

This is the only anime I ever watched that made me want to read the manga, when it ends all you want is more. It’s crack in anime form, that is why the fan base is the way it is.

I love part 6's song and visuals. I read the manga a few years ago and seeing the opening blew my damn mind.

Just think of stands as second bodies that the people can control at once, and they all have unique (and often quite strange) abilities. But they arent always people, sometimes the stand is an object, or just a power.

Oh and also, to answer your question, Stand is the physical (kinda) manifestation of your mental energy, so it's basically you yourself. And when I say kinda physical, it's because Stands can only be seen by other Stand users, can only be attacked by other Stands, and are intangible by real things, although it can choose whether or not to interact with real objects. Of course, there are exceptions to those rules. And yes, there is an overarching premise where the protagonists are all a member of the Joestar family, which originated in the UK in the late 18th century

To answer some of your questions: "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" is divided into multiple Parts, with each Part basically being its own story focusing on a different main character. In the anime, some Parts got multiple openings, and some of those openings have different variations to reflect what happened during that season. Here's some information with minimal spoilers: Part 1 (OP: Sono Chi no Sadame): The blue-haired guy is the protagonist, young nobleman Jonathan Joestar. The blond guy is his adoptive stepbrother Dio Brando - he's an asshole who, among other things, stole a kiss from Jonathan's girlfriend and turned himself into a vampire. JoJo is _weird._ Part 2 (OP: BLOODY STREAM): The guy with the scarf is the main character of this Part, Joseph Joestar. The blond guy with the bandanna is his rival/friend, and fights using bubbles. They fight ancient super-vampires (the trio of shadowy figures seen in the OP) that have recently awakened. Part 3 (OPs: STAND PROUD / Sono Chi no Kyoku): This is the Part that introduces "Stands", which are basically spirits born from your own lifeforce, that you can summon to fight in your stead. A person can have only one Stand with specific powers, and any damage taken by a Stand is reflected on the user and vice-versa. There's a few ways to get a Stand, including: being born with the potential for it, having a progenitor develop a Stand, or being hit by a special "Stand Arrow" and surviving. All the characters explicitly shown in the first two OP (including the dog) are the good guys, and are all homies. Their objective is to travel to Egypi and kill a certain villain (the blond guy you see at the end of the 4th OP's second variation), in order to lift a curse on the Joestar's family. Part 4 (OPs: Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town / chase / Great Days): Yeah, the guy with the pompadour hairdo is this part's main character. Also, several characters in this part are highschoolers - that's why they kinda look like kids. The first half of this Part is a weird slice-of-life anime with supernatural elements; but the second half is a mystery investigation to find a serial killer with Stand powers. The only difference between the Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town OP and the EDM version is that in the latter, the really small boy develops his own Stand. Also, that opening that seems to go backwards? HUGE spoilers. Since you already called it, I can tell you that time travel shenanigans are involved. Part 5 (OPs: Fighting Gold / Uragirimono no Requiem): This part's story revolves around a group of honorable gangsters who will go against the gang's boss. It's set entirely in Italy. And yeah, Uragirimono no Requiem has kinda a lot of spoilers. ESPECIALLY the final version. So... Whoops. Part 6 (OP: STONE OCEAN): A huge chunk of this Part is set in prison. The set-up is that main character Jolyne has been unjustly convicted for a murder she did not commit, as part of the plans of that Part's villains. So she has to survive while surrounded by plenty of convicts with their own Stand powers. Also, this is the part where the author decided to go with a more female cast. Results did not disappoint.

So JoJos Bizarre Adventure is a Manga Series that started in 1987 and is still going to this day. Spanning over 8 parts, soon to be 9, aswell as a bunch of questionably canon spin-off mangas, Jojos bizarre adventure is one of the most influential series in japan. And didnt really get popular outside of Japan until 2012 shere studio David Productions started making the faithful Anime adaption, currently on part 6 which is actually going to release in chunks every few months instead of weekly. Each part has its own cast of characters and protagnist but still follows the adventures of a member of the Joestar Family, who, yes, nickname ends up somehow being JoJo. With the community, memeability, and sense of adventure, JoJo is one of my favorite Anime and Manga series ever and i cant wait for more people to get into it

Fun fact: Jojo's bizzare adventure is the 9th longest running manga series (not sure if it's of all time or just in Shōnen manga), first issued in 1987 and is still running. It's latest 8th part recently finished in December of 2021, and Araki announced JoJo's 9th part in the works currently named JoJo lands. It's amazing how this series is still going on strong despite Araki being 61, that man still looks 30. Jojo is literally an idol in Shonen manga, influencing and referenced everywhere. Inspiring series like Yugioh and Persona, many characters designs in street fighter were inspired by Jojo. Literally ask any mangaka if they know Jojo and they will say yes all the time.

See... I wasn't sure where I stood on how I felt about Jolyne until the anime dropped. But then it did and seriously she's my second favourite Jojo. I'm not sure how popular blonde jojo is these days since.... well I find him bland. Sure the memes that came out of that part went HARD but I don't hear much about him being a favourite. It's kinda like.... saying Goku's your favourite DBZ character just because he's strong. 'Strength' is almost irrelevant in most cases in Jojo. Almost. I think that's why it's so good.

So uh i guess i could break it down a bit to maybe help ease your confusion. From what ive seen all/most other anime use seasons to refer to like certain arcs/events etc. but JoJo's Bizarre Adventure uses parts. JoJo has 8 parts so far (part 9 has also been confirmed i think). 5 of them have been fully animated and part 6 has had its first 12 episodes come out. The anime as a whole has 164 episodes so far (assuming i can do math). The parts: Animated: Part 1: Phantom Blood (1st op) Part 2: Battle Tendency (2nd op) Part 3: Stardust Crusaders (3rd, 4th and 5th op) Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable (ops 6-10) Part 5: Vento Aureo/Golden Wind (11th and 12th op) Part 6: Stone Ocean (13th op) Not yet animated: Part 7: Steel Ball Run Part 8: JoJolion Every part has a new main character and a new set of characters in general although quite often we see a few old characters reappear in a newer part. Every main characters name can be shortened to JoJo. The story as a whole follows a certain family and its descendants as they go on "bizarre adventures". All of the parts basically tell their own individual stories but theyre all still very connected to each other. Its a wonderful show with really cool characters from all around the world. It's a bizarre show for sure but it is a one of a kind masterpiece at the same time. I actually avoided watching it for quite a while but then finally gave in and now its one of my favourite shows. You should give it a watch some day :D

Jojo makes perfect sense! Well most of the time. After a lot of reflection on events. There IS a thread of logic there, but it's buried under all the absurd stuff going on. Which is genius itself. It's definitely worth it, plus there's the added bonus of the fact that you can get all the Jojo references in other japanese media...because it's there.
