Remember, many say she is the girl of a thousand voices. Like most people she will grow and evolve and try different things and that is awesome! She was reading the lyrics, probably at first did not consider how adult the story was, she was probably drawn in by the lines 'The Moon and the stars were the gifts you gave to the dark and endless skies' - even in her book there is a picture a little like that and in Back to Black, she is the one who speaks to the Moon. At the end she gives a shy embarrassed glance to her grandma, who is probably a little flustered by the powerful emotional expression of 'the first time'...

Love her tiktok very much. We have to be thankful to listen to her very near personal experiments to find a new style. Her interpretation of yesterday shows her very unique raspy style, never heard before of a famous song and her covers of some samsmith songs are very Angelina style. I have heard this song all my life, but never really gave it a second thought until I heard Angelina sing it. I'll never understand how someone so young (just 11 years old here) can add so much meaning to a classic song like this. I could listen to this one all day. Like you said... it's just so chill. Also, just a note on the stuff you mentioned about her accent in 'yesterday'. This is not an accent she has picked up. This is a deliberate, artistic choice she made for this song. Personally I love it. She is always going to keep giving us the unexpected. That's the best kind of artist IMO ;)

I totally agree with you about AJ on TikTok and thank you for taking the time to voice your thoughts on this. Some of her fans are way too possessive of Angelina and her gift, instead of appreciating her for who she is and where she is in her career and in her life experience. Allow her the freedom and respect to live her life and find her own way. She will never be all things to all people and it is her life to do as she wants and to follow her own muse. Every artist goes through changes over time. If they didn't, THAT would be unusual and strange. If you really appreciate and follow an artist for their true talent and passion, then you go where they go. Or as OkiChan points out so well, if you don't like the direction she takes- you don't have to keep following Angelina's career, although you will be missing out! Hi Oksi! Yeah I don't see or hear much of a change in Angelina either. People are putting way too much emphasis on her Tic Tok and Instagram videos where she is having fun like a lot of young people! She will change and do things that make her feel good, but some fans would rather have her stay a kid forever. I will follow Angelina in whatever direction she goes!

Each to their own. I love her TikTok recordings. Even if she did a mumble rap I'd love to hear that. But seriously, I think she'd sound great on a hip-hop track. She could also easily do Billie Eilish's style, if she wanted to. She'd sound great in any genre, maybe except for heavy metal.

I think that on her tiktok recordings what becomes most evident is that her voice has changed as she's gotten older. Her tone and her register are lower. With certain songs, she is not quite figured out how to use her adult voice as she used her kid's voice previously. She cannot use the same tone as before and I think she needs to experiment with that. Right now she's kind of in the limbo phase IMO.
