She's a powerhouse and deservedly achieved success in the last couple years but many fans miss her previous songwriting. She used to write very refined, more poetical lyrics, beautiful ballads, and you could see even in her choice of covers her taste was very different. She would kill it with songs by Mina, who is an Italian diva and impossible to match for anyone but her. Her fanbase, albeit smaller, was proud and loyal nontheless. We all love her, but we still mourn that Annalisa a little bit.
