ATEEZ are known for their intense performance, you can see it in their MV's but it's much more impactful when you see their live stages. I love how you complimented their acting, because they fully immerse themselves to their performance no matter what genre the song is, but while they do have brighter and softer songs they do especially excel in the darker, harder concepts. And well, we even call couple of the most intense members as "the demon line" because they practically look possessed in certain stages in the best possible way! They do also have a very intense & well crafted storyline going through all of their music, MV's, some live stages, variety shows & album notes, but here is a short-ish summary (so spoiler warning): in the story ATEEZ are group of friends who get their hands on an hourglass (you see it in the end of Deja Vu MV), and they can use that hourglass to travel through dreams & dimensions. So ATEEZ end up in dystopian world, where the government has forbidden all art, music included, trying to control the citizens and there ATEEZ meet that world's version of them called Black Pirates (or halateez, as you properly see them for the first time in Hala Hala MV, they are the people with black outfit, hats & masks in Deja Vu & Say My Name). These Black Pirates are rebels fighting against the evil government and ATEEZ end up working together with them, and the government has send androids to hunt them down... There is a lot more, but that's the short summary of where the story is at this moment. Some of their MV's are more clearly linked to the story, some are more vague, so dont be stressed if you don't immediately understand the connections. But yeah, basically ATEEZ are freedom fighting pirates! And if you want the hear different styles from them, then I recommend these: -Eternal Sunshine MV (double tittle track with Deja Vu, released last week) -Hala Hala MV (probably their most unique & darkest) -Illusion MV -Utopia MV (japanese version, so beautiful) -Dreamers MV (japanese single) -Celebrate special video (song gifted for us, atiny, for our 2nd anniversary) -Aurora MV (also song about atiny, their leader, Hongjoong, made it) Also ATEEZ has 8 members, but Mingi (their deep voiced rapper), was couple of months in a hiatus earlier this year due mental health, so there are some performances & MV's that he isn't part of. My ultimate favourite song is Answer (which you mentioned liking I think?), and then probably b-sides like Take Me Home, Rocky & Precious. ATEEZ has a great variety of sounds, hope you get to explore them some more

Thank for getting to know them more. ATEEZ stands for A-Teenager-Z basically the A-Z of teenagers. ATEEZ rap line has only consisted of Hongjoong ( Mullet guy) and Mingi ( Deep voiced) but now includes vocalist Seonghwa (Blond in Say My Name) his rap is feature in their recent Japanese release ‘Dreamer’ and their collaboration with Kim Jong Kook ‘Be My Lover’.

They really do have some amazingly catchy songs. And they have an incredible amount of versatility. So if you want to check out more let me just kindly recommend some of my fav b-sides from Ateez to give you a place to start: Mist (I literally listen to this song everyday lmao), Desire (this song hits soooo hard), Dazzling Light and With U (these songs make me feel so nostalgic, I love it), Aurora (the chorus thoooo), Illusion, Good Lil Boy, Fever & Promise (these songs make me feel so good), One Day At A Time (such a comforting song, also sidenote: 1st English track), The Leaders (off their last album - its fireeeeee), Take Me Home (If anything PLZZ listen to this bop), and Not Too Late (off their latest album). After watching your reaction, I noticed that you're immersed on the theatrical aspect of their videos a lot. If you want to truly see how intense that is, please react to stages from Kingdom. I won't say a lot about them except you would understand once you see them. Their main storyline is they're pirates. And the Kingdom stages would actually help a lot in understanding their story and universe. One thing about the members, don't repeat my early mistake by trying to remember based on hair colour. They changed their hair quite a lot :D

Hardcore Atiny here. so yeah, i personally feel Ateez is a well-recognised group internationally, though they might still not be very much acknowledged in Korea. Ateez are quite known for their charismatic and dark concepts. Though there are songs which show the brighter side of Ateez. They have an extremely strong rap line and vocal line but i think Jongho as a maknae is probably one of the most recognised vocalists for someone like him. There are such videos where you can see how stable his vocals are and when he sings live too. Angelic. Suggest you look up their profiles and stuff like that but yeah like you said, its a lot better to watch on stage performances where you get to see their entire choreos and such. Honestly, im pretty sure many know this alrdy but the DEMONIC LINE in Ateez is god damn strong. Their expressions are very well...expressed. 😹 I think Ateez is one of those grps where they rlly have a solid and clear storyline. So an observation: im busy with school so i may not have alot of time to keep up with Ateez thus i havent exactly linked their whole entire story yet but certain MVs have a very clear portrayal of their story whereas some are very vague and need some time to "peel". Since debut, Ateez has this concept where they kinda have this dark side of them which is seen as these men wearing masks, fedora hats and a suit. They do appear from time to time in differing MVs. They refer to themselves as Pirate Kings (correct me if im wrong). But its rlly hard to connect everything when watched separately so suggest you watch in order and listen to lyrics carefully. Also one thing which i feel not many ppl notice is at the end of the MVs, there is always a melody playing and that melody is actually a form of preview for their next title track. You can try playing the MVs and hearing the ending then go to the next title track and it actually matches. They have double title tracks for each album except Zero Fever Part 2 since Mingi was not able to be physically there for this comeback, it only had one title track, Im The One. The thing abt this album though is that like said earlier, end of MV is a sneak peek at the next title track (also listen to DejaVu, the end melody is actually the next title track), and for Im The One, the song is actually , The Real, which instead of being their next comeback song, its the song they used for Kingdom Finale Performance. Still worth listening to very much. Certain recommendations: - Eternal Sunshine (double title track with DejaVu) - Not Too Late (frm Zero Fever Part 3, nice soothing song to listen to) - Star 1117 (also a soothing, saddening tune) - Thanxx and Rocky (sending strong charismatic vibes) - The Real (good energy, hypening up) - a video of Jongho breaking apples in half while singing - Wonderland (Kingdom ver.) - MAMA 2019 performance

Every music video that ATEEZ puts out is related to the storyline. They also drop hints in a lot of other videos like behind the scenes, in some series like 'Fever Road', and even during interviews or in random videos they drop hints. Even all of their albums are part of the storyline. They were also on a survival show called 'Kingdom: Legendary War'. They gave away more of their storyline on there while competing with other groups in the competition. The groups on Kingdom were: ATEEZ, Stray Kids, The Boyz, SF9, iKON, and BTOB. I'm deep into the theory and as frustrating as it is to change my theory 3471984 times, it's fun. My favorite songs are Wave, Answer, and Say My Name. The first music video of theirs that I saw was 'Hala Hala' and in Hala Hala, they are all in their black outfits with the black hats. We call them 'HalaTEEZ'.

Out of their mvs I suggest you check out Eternal Sunshine, it came out a week ago and it follows the same vibes of Wave/illusion(if you're familiar with those 2 songs), it's very refreshing. In terms of performances, well there is a vast repertoire to choose from but their kingdom performances just blew me away, the best ones of the show in my opinion.

I don't even know where to start, as for their music, they have so variety in their music, check out their summer vibes songs as Wave, Illusion, Eternal Sunshine. Their bsides are top tier. In terms of performance, I've been a kpop fan for more than 5 years, i' ve stanned SO many groups, seen so many stages, and i'm being honest when i tell you ateez are the best performers i've seen in kpop so far. They such a strong stage presence, the way they command the stage. A a whole and individually. Like i truly never seen a group in which EACH members are SO good in terms of stage presence, as ateez. Their are actually known for that. They have gotten titles such as "Master of Performances" since they were ROOKIES, the were praised bc of that. Their live stages are litterally outstanding, even seniors in the industry have praised them and said how they thought they were YEARS in the industry when they saw them performs. They're the only bg to have won 3/4 times in Immortal songs. They were praised by Kim Jongkook, Rain an even PSY invited them himself to the program bc he said out of all groups nowaday, he looks up the most to ateez. Professional choreographers have praised them even PRE-DEBUT bc of their talent performing, saying they've never seen a group like them. Their facial expressions on stage, UFF. TOP TIER, they are literally true PERFORMERS, they act on stage, no matter the concept. One of the members has even been called 'The man who will raise the standards of kpop performances". You should watch their immortal songs performances, or any you'd like, at the end of the day, they never miss

This was a really nice reaction video! I'm sure you've probably heard from others already but Ateez is one of the most talented groups in kpop with one of the best discographies. I think you'll find out the more you dig into them that they are INCREDIBLY versatile musically. They definitely have a "sound" that's distinctively recognizable from any other group but they can pull off any genre or concept with equal excellence. Where they really shine is in their performance stages. I don't know if you've watched any of their stages from the show Kingdom but if you haven't, you should definitely check those stages out. I would also highly recommend their performances from KCON New York and KCON L.A as well as their more recent stage for Deja Vu, Thanxx, Inception, Answer and Wonderland. These guys are known as performance monsters in the industry for a reason. Anyway, I look forward to seeing more reactions to Ateez on your channel
