I absolutely loved your reaction! This is possibly my favorite song on her latest album, and this is the best live version, IMO. I've seen multiple vocal coaches absolutely fangirl over this live performance. I also love what you were saying about her name and how it fits her so well. It's crazy how well it fits. I think most new listeners assume it's a stage name, because of how perfect it is. On a livestream by Pomme, Aurora recounted how their collaboration came to be: "I made my album in a castle in Norway, and it has French history. And this man lived in this castle like hundreds of years ago, and he was French, Marcus Gerhard. And he loved art and music and he celebrated and invited people [...] and I thought it would be a nice way to honour this French castle by having you." Aurora later explained to Apple Music: "I don't normally do features. I knew a bit about [Pomme] because she's extremely sweet and very talented. I wanted to include some Frenchness on the opening song as a gift to the castle that gave me a lot of the inspiration to finish this album. Pomme is a French singer (it's pronounced like "pomm" (withouit the "e")), which is derived from her real name Claire Pommet (this time you pronounce it like YOU pronounced "Pomme"). The last stanza of this song, Pomme and Aurora are both singing in French here. Since you have reacted to so many songs from her Nidarosdomen concert, I am astonished that you haven't reacted to her cover of David Bowie's 1974 classic "Life on Mars ?" ! Aurora's version, especially from Nidarosdomen is - in my opinion . by far the most beautiful and gorgeous David Bowie cover I have heard so far and I am sure you'll be of the same opinion when reacting to it. If you don't know the original yet, I would advice you to listen to the original first to see what Aurora makes out of it... I swear you, you'll be speechless and mesmerized ! It's fairly new. This is a great example of Aurora's recent album. The whole thing is amazing, but there are at least 5 or 6 more on that album that are just as transcendent as this one.

The French language is very distinctive I don't see how anyone can fail to rerecognize it. French's is spoken all over the world, from New Orleans, Canada, parts of Asia and Africa and even in the Caribbean. It's the romance language!
