BABYMETAL Sakura Gakuin Nendo Pre Test Prank 2013 first time reaction! Today I'm reacting to Sakura Gakuin and their first Nendo pre test prank back in 2013! This prank video is straight up hilarious! I loved watching the whole thing unfold, and Mori Sensei leaping out of that locker is not something I'll be forgetting anytime soon! Not to mention the legend that is Eddie Murphynton.... 😂😂

🌸 🏫 /📝 The girls did get more suspicious in later years. Anytime they went on location for a photo or video shoot they were on their guard.

I‘m really amazed that they were able to learn this within an hour, and I feel bad for them that it was all in vain. But at the same time I love this, Mori sensei is awesome!

They certainly got wise to it as the years went on. The Nendo tests were always conducted around the same time each year, so as well as trying to study for it, they were studying the calendar to try and figure out which photo shoot or other engagement was actually a front for the test. My personal favourite is the 2013 prank, but the most elaborate was 2016. I won't spoil it here, but it's tainted a bit for me because it's also the harshest.

It may be a prank, but it shows how awesome they are, they can learn full choreo in one hour and make a fake dance look great!

The nendos after 2014 the pranks are included in the same videos as the pranks themselves! Also, in 2015 nendo they have *two* test with pranks!! A mid-term test and an end-of-year test

Thank you for doing this reaction ! They are so much fun. 12:08 probably from some old comedy act or something and the girls have never seen it. 14:09 same, I would be fooled too, especially because I think this was the first pre-nendo test prank The girls are amazing they could learn it so fast. They are hugely talented/hardworking at such an early age. I've seen SG collab with an other idol group of older young ladies at Tokyo Idol Festival and SG girls killed it, the other group almost looked like amateurs in comparison !

@@azizanputra In Suzuka's graduation year the prank was on her: after a meeting with Mori-sensei she was told to go to a location where she would receive career guidance, and the location turned out to be a classroom. But instead it was a surprise appreciation party for her put on by the other members. So partly a prank, including a jump-scare greeting and a song with some lyrics teasing her, and partly like a previous year's _Friends_ field trip where the members wrote heartfelt messages to each other and read them aloud.

yoo wtff im not expecting sakura gakuin heree LMAO!! they were my favorite group even before babymetal formed as a band, it still a subunit to this group loll dammn good ol days, my favorites is the OG Sakura gakuin with ayami leader and rinon as the youngest i believe? damnnn

Listening to the high pitched shrieks of all the girls after the guy jumped out of the cabinet, made me think. For tens of thousands of years, this was the only weapon that women/ girls had when confronted with danger. A loud sound that carries as far as possible with no other purpose but to alert the men of the tribe. This sound suddenly made me sad. I realised that this sound is a testament to a very brutal past. A past full of murder and agony. In which women meant nothing but a prize for the victor. All they could do was scream. And it's still in their genes. Maybe I'm in a serious mood, lol.

I’m never sure if shows like SG are scripted, heavily edited or genuine. But, IMO, Su was so loved and looked up to by her SG “classmates”. Like when Moa promised that she’ll always support Su. Moa has kept her promise til now.

Raura (front and center in the dance formation in this video) was in a video a year ago answering that question: _Q: Are Sakura Gakuin nendo tests - real?_ Raura: Yes. We didn't have any scenarios. _Q: So they were really for real!_ Raura: Really for real. It's always a surprise. For example, "you were chosen for participation in an idol dance battle!" And we're like, preparing, dancing... And then out of nowhere our sensei appears: "Alright, we are going to start our nendo test right now!" So we don't get any questions beforehand, not even the date the test will happen on. No signs of trouble and then Bam! And we are being given the test papers. The event was Act Against AIDS 2011 「THE VARIETY 19 -頑張れ！東北-」 and there were 18 acts, SG reportedly performed _Verishuvi._ Exactly two years later at the same annual charity event Babymetal would perform _Megitsune_ at the Budokan, three months before they headlined a pair of concerts there.

12:26 If I am not mistaken, he is teaching the most famous dance of comedian "Shimura Ken (志村けん)". Everyone in Japan knows this dance. Shimura ken's dance in Japan is just like Mr. Bean's dance in UK. It is very famous and funny.

Who is this Wataru-san, who works at a Ramen store in Shinbashi, Tokyo? I have never watched him before on the TV in Japan. I wonder how Sakura Gakuin Teachers got him who could speak English, dance, and act like a foreigner? At 11:32 & 12:28, these are movements of a famous gag by Shimura Ken (志村けん), "Weird Uncle (変なおじさん)". In one of Sakura Gakuin's early behind scene videos, Moa also did second one as a punishment game. Didn't Moa notice that is weird? At 13:04 & 13:41, these are another old Beat (Kitano) Takeshi (北野武) gags, "No kidding! (冗談じゃないよ)" and "Comaneci! (コマネチ！)" (No kidding is probably). Both of them were comedy idols for me, who was over 50 years, in my childhood. Shimura Ken unfortunately passed away last year due to this coronavirus. At 15:56, "Sheee" is an even older gag, from a manga by Akatsuka Fujio (赤塚不二夫). So I think girls never know it. At 9:13, it was amazing that Hinata could already understand English at this time. At19:24, Raura is most shocked. It is funny, but I feel sorry for her. At 18:35, Moa gets so angry, and at 20:32, ending up in the back of Moa's head, what the hell, haha!. However, we can see the girls are really pure and talented. Thank you from Japan.

I think all the pranks and tests until 2014 are on KZfaq and save to upload. After that you probably have to rely on Google Drive videos and also have to upload your reactions to GDrive. But the quality of the videos and especially the subs are way better from 2015 on.

Ah, I love this video. Great reaction too! As you can imagine, there might be some glares for Mori-sensei during the actual test. ^_^ And what you said about it being difficult to keep doing these is apparently true, since as far as I know, they only did the pranks for this year and the 2014 nendo.

they actually kept the pranks going until at least 2018 nendo, and I believe the 2019 nendo too! Not sure if they did it 2020 nendo, though

The only downside of that brilliant video is the glaring lack of Moa/Yui shots. The poor girls were all the way at the back. In fact Moa was the closest to the locker she must've been scared af LOL. The focus was obviously on the seniors of the year that were going to graduate which is fine aswell. Plenty of Moa & Yui in the next couple of years so we're good :).

Have you reacted to the Japanese idol group BiSH yet? Or have they been recommended to you? They're an idol group with a twist, where as they perform a variety of genres from pop to techno/dance to rock. I think if you enjoy K-pop you'd enjoy them.
