I remember I was like 6 years old when I saw Fast Five in theaters. Gal Gadot has a certain scene in that movie, and ever since, I’ve never understood the people that say she’s ugly 🤣😅

In defense of the Josstice League tweet, it does have my favorite scene in it. When Aquaman tries to give a pep talk, but he's sitting on the lasso of truth. That was funny, also the "tell me do you bleed?" was a nice callback. Now Batman saying, "something is definitely bleeding", was horrible because Batman should not be making jokes. And to be fair, the opening of the Snyder cut was better than the Josstice League and had me hooked.

A hot take of mine is that Black Adam is better than Wakanda forever and that Wakanda forever was boring

The only place I differ on your views is with respect to WW84. I won't argue it's a great film. But I found it very enjoyable. What I liked: very engaging action sequences, some real emotional depth (her decades-long grieving for Steve), and a hopeful message at the end. All told, the script's flaws didn't stop me from enjoying the movie. Thank you for doing these fun hot takes videos!

Even though the theatrical cut of Justice League was made under cynical circumstances, that cut ironically has the DCEU heroes acting more heroic, friendly and upbeat than they acted in previous films. It was the one time that Henry Cavill got to play an unambiguously likable version of Superman. He was a great choice to play Superman, so I'm glad that he got to finally play the symbol of hope version of Superman.

This is even better than the first part.

My hot take would be that I like Batman Forever more than the Nolan Batman movies. I also think DC has great characters but Marvel has done a way better job with getting the general public to love so many characters. I love Superman, Batman, Flash and Wonder Woman but they need to show the general public that there're so many other great and deep characters in the DC.

To be fair I enjoy certain elements of the Josstice league better than certain elements of the Snyder Cut and honestly like Snyder's work when it is his original ideas rather than working with DC. So I didn't enjoy the Snyder Cut but I can see why the people that like it like it and I appreciate the extra development it gave to certain characters that weren't in the 1st version of the movie.

As far as characters I have to say Marvel. Even before the MCU I preferred Marvel with heroes like Iron Man, Wolverine, Deadpool (yes before he was popular) and Hulk. And before I even knew how to write I was always a Spider-Man fan as a toddler and so for me as much as I love both I have to say Marvel.

Wonder Woman 1984 isn't as bad as people think it is. Also, the snyder cut is worse than the theatrical cut. The snyder cut has many problems that Zack's fans choose to ignore, such as: • It's runtime is full of unnecessary padding. • Flash rewinding time at the end is pure spectacle with no consequences. • Darkseid is a wasted villain that created a huge plot hole that Zack doesn't address and his fans ignore. • While Steppenwolf is given improvements, he and Desaad look incompetent by not realizing from the start that Earth is the same planet lost on since it has the motherboxes. • Silas Stone is killed off for no reason. • Martian Manhunter is a wasted character that could have helped, but ends up being a detriment. • Wonder Woman gets a new theme that gets overused very quickly. • Superman has the black suit for no reason whatsoever. • Superman is still set up to be evil with his unnecessary brutality against an enemy that is weaker than he is, along with having his last scene be him being evil in a possible future. • Cyborg needs help to access the motherboxes despite his technology coming from a motherbox and the fact that he could access the motherboxes himself in the theatrical cut. • Superman has no real connection with the justice league other than Batman and possibly Wonder Woman, unlike in the theatrical cut. • The scene where Wonder Woman stops the terrorists in the theatrical cut has Wonder Woman execute them and have it be inspirational to a girl in the snyder cut. • Wonder Woman kills Steppenwolf in the snyder cut for a vendetta. Wonder Woman may be the only member of the justice league that can be allowed the killing blow, and she has a reason to do so since he killed her fellow amazons and claimed to have killed her mother, but it comes across as vengeance, not justice. • The colors or lack thereof just makes the movie looks bleak. I honestly enjoyed the theatrical cut of justice league more and thought it was the better film. It at least let Superman be Superman, and let the justice league be heroes and very human.

The thing I didn't understand about WW 84 was how did Bruce Wayne not see what was going on and wish his parents were still alive. It's also a thing I don't like how WW would have been known worldwide, same with how Black Adam had Justice Society being around for years but Bruce Wayne didn't find them when looking for a team.

I can think of ONE thing about Josstice League I like better than ZSJL. When one of the scientists Steppenwolf threatens says “I have a family,” Steppenwolf says “Why does everybody say that?” in an annoyed way. In the Snyder Cut he says “Then you have weakness”, which is a far more cliched villain line.

I’m sorry, but I just can’t take anyone seriously who says that Josstice League is better than Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The difference in filmmaking and world building quality couldn’t be more drastic.

At this point, people are creating burner/troll accounts and commenting the most stupidest shit so Sean can read them outloud. Ok, I'll play.. Henry Cavill is UGLY to me. Christopher Reeve was more handsome. Henry used steroids to get that big like Chris Hemsworth did. What roles has Henry got after Superman? Nothing memorable. Maybe the one from MI6. Daisy Ridley is getting little roles herself and people want to trash her. If studios don't want Henry, the fans still want to sick his duck.

I agree with the thing about Joss Whedon's Justice League. I don't want to watch 4 hours of dark, moody superheroes. I won't even watch a 4 hour BATMAN movie and I hope they never make one. I dig the humor mixed with the dire straits that the world finds itself in and I can overlook the bad CGI tache removal.

I think wonder woman 84 is overhated. Its not a great movie but i can still enjoy it and appreciate what they were going for in the third act, with the whole wish thing. It could have had better execution, but if you take it at face value for what it is, it's not that bad of a movie.

I really wish the DCEU wasn’t so rushed. The early solo films were great. MoS, Aquaman, WW, and Shazam were great and could’ve been a great foundation. Why is BvS the second movie? It makes no sense. Why kill Superman in the second film? Why is a Suicide Squad team up the third film? Especially when it has zero ties to most of the DCEU? There were 2 solo films before the “big team up” in Justice League, which is horrendous. The 4 main Avengers all had a solo movie before the film, but 2 of the 7 had it for JL. So much potential, such good casting, so many good starting points, but so many braindead ideas. Imagine if Marvel’s third movie was GotG and they didn’t show up in the Avengers. It wouldn’t make any sense, but DC thought it would work

None of the DCEU movies are amazing or even great. At best they’re “pretty good” and at worst they’re absolute dogsh*t. The best DCEU movie is the Snyder cut of the justice league and it’s only like a 7.5/10 in my opinion. My favorite superhero of all time is Batman, so it’s disappointing to me how bad this universe is.

How can there be a single soul that thinks Josstice League is even remotely watchable? This notion alone depresses me. The idea of people advocating for such a disgustingly cynical product that, on top of looking and feeling *wrong* , was reworked at the expense of a director who was grieving a family tragedy is just maddening.

There's a handful of things I like in Josstice League than in ZSJL, but it's still an objectively worse "film". One is the progression of the awkward interactions between Barry and Victor. Another is that Aquaman women yodeling while smelling his jumper this was just... a big head scratcher. You could have just kept the sea song without the creepy sniffing. 2 or 3 other things that I remember pointing out but can't be bothered to recollect atm.

My hot take that I truly believe is that The Dark Knight Rises is better than The Dark Knight! Both excellent movies! But, I just like DKR a little bit more.

Here's something you can't deny, Sean...Joss handled Darkseid way better. In his cut we never fully meet him and actual Intrigue is built up for him. Instead we are left to wonder who could be such a powerful force that disappointing him leaves you in thousands of years of Exile if not immediate death. The Snyder version suffered one humiliation and sends his uncle out to clean his chores up. To the point of forgetting the place he supposedly wants to swear revenge on. And then being dismissive in Skype calls to Steppenwolf in what is more of a direct clone of scenes from the Avengers (in this case Loki and the Other) than anything from the guy who ACTUALLY directed it. Both versions of the film are terrible wastes of time and money. The Whedon version just hurts a little less.

Make ZSJL a two parter

One word destroys the argument that the original JL is better than Snyder's: Cyborg. He is an afterthought in the original. He is the heart and soul of Snyder's, and that fact plus the way he reacted when Ray Fisher called him out on that really has made me question what I thought I knew about Whedon.

The Dark Knight trilogy is the only DC I really enjoy and rewatchable. Some DC movies are okay but I never have a desire to rewatch any

Here a contraversial opinion I think the new superman is just sorry excuse for anime content. It make too many reference, can stand alone, and act like this is the first time Lois has any effect in the story other than being a damsel. And frankly shows need to stop go so fast with plot. I don't thing Josstice League is better than the Snyder Cut, but I do believe that there are good scenes in it which are absent from the Snyder Cut and, if they were part of it, the Snyder Cut would be a perfect Justice League movie.

Apart from Batman, I'd put about 40 Marvel characters above any DC ones. Also no one does villains better than the MCU.
