In this video, I react to Diana Ankudinova’s incredible performance of the soundtrack from the movie Dune. Diana Ankudinova is a Russian singer who has a unique polyphonic voice and a dramatic contralto range. She performed the soundtrack from the film Dune in the Russian version of the show The Art of Hans Zimmer in November 2023. I was blown away by her vocal skills and the emotion she conveyed in the song. Watch my reaction and let me know what you think in the comments below!

Greetings from Scotland! Good to see you react to Diana again Jhoan! Yes, this is incredible! To be able to perform the whole song at full belting power and sustain those very long notes requires a special voice and huge breath control too! Have to say, that stunning outfit looked perfect on Diana here. She actually looked like a native of Arrakis (Dune) as she sang in the FREMEN language! Truly inspirational getting such an alien sounding voice to sing a song in an alien language! Only Diana could have done this at this level! I agree, she has a special voice and a huge breath control that allows her to sing in any language and style. I love how she incorporated the Fremen culture and language from Dune into her song. @@JhoanAmogiz Hello Jhoan! Christina is well thank you! I am not so well, but I am slowly getting better. Maybe next year or so, I will be back to normal, we will see. 2023 was a horrible year for us, especially me personally. However, life must go on. Diana is doing very well for herself, clever young lady! 😊 She just did a live concert on a Moscow radio station today, about 8 songs, with 6 original songs! I’m sorry to hear that you are not well, I pray for fast healing and I hope you recover soon. 2023 was indeed a tough year for many of us, but I’m glad you are still enjoying Diana’s music. She is truly a talented and unique singer. I watched her live concert on the radio station and I was blown away by her original songs. She has such a powerful and expressive voice. @@JhoanAmogiz I know you have had your own problems Jhoan and I am very glad to see you looking well and happy. Diana saved me many years ago when I heard her sing at 13yo. Last year Diana released a beautiful song at a time when I really needed her to, as if she knew what had happened! She is so much more than a singer. The song was "The day you..." She recently did a wonderful duet with the writer of the song, her good friend Brandon Stone. Breath taking! Such high notes!

Диана говорила, что с вокальным тренером специально разработали стиль пения для этой песни. Что бы дыхание не сбивалось. Легкие у Дианы это отдельный феномен. Она так долго может протяжно поддерживать сильные ноты. Это конечно приводит в восторг. Diana said that she and her vocal coach specially developed a singing style for this song. So that your breathing doesn't get lost. Diana's lungs are a separate phenomenon. She can sustain strong notes for so long. This is certainly exciting.
