It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for! The clouds, his eyes, the choir, starting A cappella, his face before he starts, the purity of sound, absolutely Divine, from above. The first time I viewed this, from the moment I saw Dimash at the mic, moving slowly to the mic and bowing his head in reverence, closing his eyes, Divine spirit coming thru his body and face.....and then.....that first tone…….my eyes filled with tears......thru the entire piece.....and each time I've watched again…….Even the choir is applauding.
