I love that you love “Everything She Wants.” That was probably the single for many that solidified people being a fan of Wham!, especially here in America. George Michael definitely seemed like he was in high spirits during that performance. The whole Foreign Skies documentary was such an incredible window into China just as it was starting to open up to the outside world. How incredible that it was Wham! of all pop performers to be the first from the West to do concerts in China.

I was lucky enough to grow up in the 80s. When Everything She Wants came out, I was 16 (1984). I remember wearing long, wavy hair and the beginnings of a three-day beard!

Wham! was the first ever western pop group to tour in China in 1985. This type of music was unknown to most Chinese people.
