The video from Fight song by EVE is a part of his own manga series called Kara no Kioku (edit: 3:46 glad you now know this right?) hope it gets an anime adaptation one day also wait, have you yet seen "How to eat life" ? its literally the video that comes before fight song, as indicated here 1:02 (edit: 8:41 yes, thats the one) fun bit of trivia: the animaton for "how to eat life" was literally solo done by one person. and the animation of fight song, was done by the same person, but leading a whole team this time.

I always thought how to eat life was a prequel, because I thought that’s how he met his heart form the bag. And the headless dragon was supposed to be of a girl who got assassinated, and a little girl, is her reincarnation. And that the whole thing about eating was supposed to be about his shadow form, where it was basically eating him up alive on the inside, and his heart form, which is the bag was trying to eat out the shadow, and at the end of the music video, it shows, the bag or his heart form, saving him from the headless dragon which was trying to eat him and I think that would also explain why people hate the little girl this one because she’s the reincarnation of the thing that ate and killed so many people of the town I’m pretty sure heart form and shadow form are apart of the manga if you were confused

The concept and characters are original, they appeared in his other song "How to eat life" before. I believe there are also manga based on them. The video was storyboarded and animated by just one person btw Also, if you frame-by-frame it, you can find Denji and Makima sitting in the crowd

Very excited to see you react to this song! Just a few small notes for future reference - first, Eve is the name of a singer and not a band, so it's just the one guy with he/him pronouns. Second, I'm pretty sure his name is just pronounced the same as the English word "Eve"? Like, I know it's sometimes stylized as E ve, but it's still just pronounced "eev." Also, I second all the other comments recommending How To Devour Life, and would like to add in my two cents that you should check out his song Dramaturgy! It was kind of his breakout hit, and the music video is really interesting. He didn't have the money back then to get studio-quality animation like this, but part of me kind of misses the messier look of his earlier vids, they still hold up as incredibly expressive and unique

I am a MASSIVE Eve fan. Unfortunately, I can't speak Japanese (someday I swear I'll learn) so I can't really understand the lyrics but I can get a decent enough translation with Google Translate or other translators. However, just the melody of the songs and the visuals of the MVs help me get an idea of what they might be about and I always get emotional when I listen to a new song of his :"). I actually first heard of him through a Discord server I was in! Someone shared an MV of his there that was one of his most viewed on his YT channel and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT so it didn't take long for me to subscribe XD. It wasn't a song from any anime tho and, actually, I didn't even know he was big enough that he'd already done a song for an anime by then and was going to release one for Jujutsu Kaisen months later XD. Obviously, I found that out when he released that MV, and even tho I hadn't been supporting him for long at all and it was just that I didn't know about it, I kinda felt like I'd become a fan of a small artist and then watched them become huge, kinda like the OG Swifties feel probably. Like, I felt proud but it felt weird to feel proud because it had actually happened a while before I got there and I'd only just become a fan XD PS: I'm pretty sure his name is pronounced like the Eve from Adam and Eve
