i was there live and i legitimately could not hear half of the song since the crowd was going so wild (not that i mind - i was shout singing too). i cannot WAIT to see the audience in Liverpool screaming CHA CHA CHA at the top of their lungs

I honestly think that Finnish is not that difficult to pronounce especially for Spanish people, I find the pronunciations pretty similar in many ways. :) So you should definitely learn to sing it! Spain also has a really strong song, congratulations! Greetings from Finland!

@@Parisiennen I thought that the Finnish language was difficult to learn and I didn't know that the pronunciation was similar to Spanish, that's done, I'll be able to sing it perfectly, a hug from Spain, I wish you the best position this year in Eurovision, a top 3 and that my country votes for you with 12 points. By the way, since you are Finnish, I just want to tell you that I want you to join NATO and that you be protected from Russia and the tyrant Putin and from those who harm you. Thank you. The Story is about the man who is exhausted after working all week. So he want to go to the bar, take some drinks and just let go dancing cha cha cha. This song has multiple meanings, but the most prominent one is that ”do not be afraid to be the true yourself”. The next close meaning is that ”men are often ’forced’ to be manly and macho, and they find it hard to be themselves under the macho shells and the booze plays an excuse in this song to be themselves.. and they could blame the alcohol for the night’s behaviour in the morning”. Also applies to sexuality. And also fits this stressful time we are living in. Cha cha cha represents the true self of him under the macho shell and the dancers show the inner fighting on the stage as they are the true him who fights the macho singer him.

The wrapper doesn't take itself too seriously, and it exudes a refreshing way even from the setting of the song. I was intrigued by this song I learnt some Finnish when I worked there and so I liked the very Finnish storyline of the song combined with the very catchy song and the staging I was certainly my favourite for the evening The other thing was to watch the performances from the crowd videos and compare Loreen in the sandwich press and Käärijä in the crate It was fascinating to see the differences Loreen delivered her song identically a highly studied performance and a basically televisual performance the crowd didn't get to see much until 2/3 of the song Käärijä with the neon colours and the dance routine were much more visually present on TV and in the arena.

@@florenna yeah the joke only works in Finnish. Idk how it should be built in Liverpool. Many talk about boxing ring lile in lyrics vud, but it wouldn't make any sense since stage performance doesn't have the same boxing theme. Cha cha cha dancers were absolutely spot on addition.

I had to look at your post again. I have never seen such an inauthentic performance and I hope I never will. Finns love honesty above all else, and you can't see even a hint of that issue. You reacted almost the same way in many of your other posts and we have noticed how inauthentic you are. We were provided with a wonderful compilation of reactions that work along these lines and someone wondered about your absence from there. We didn't wonder for long ;) I hope you learn something and authenticity is not what you present, but comes from the heart ;)

I doubt that people will vote for Ukraine much because they are sick of war propaganda. This could be a winner. For me it is better than Loreen or Spain because it is very catchy and people will connect to it. Spain is masterpiece but it is more for people who love modern etno and have sophisticated taste.

"sick of war propaganda" Yikes. Do you mean that media consistently reporting about it is propaganda? Come on. Ukraine's win was not "propaganda". Maybe check the meaning of the term.

@@Sipu97 I lived during war in the Balkans and when you have corrupted and controlled media you can't expect truth. It will take months and years for all dirty games and hidden agenda to be revealed.

@@iaindj Sorry to hear that. Still, I feel like Ukraine's victory was a mixture of people liking the song and showing support because of the war. Not propaganda. I'm pretty sure they won't win again this year.

Suomeksi ihan lyhyesti ja ytimekkäästi heille, jotka eivät ymmärrä englantia paljoa. KZfaqssa ihmeteltiin, miksi hän ei ole koosteessa, jossa Suomen kappaleeseen on suosituimpien reaktiot koostettuna. Henkilö tuntuu kannattavan lähes kaikkia kappaleita ja koittaa näin ollen ehkä kerätä itselleen seuraajia? Tuo miellyttävä kooste löytyy netistä, enkä tähän voi sitä kaiketi liittää. Summa summarum, henkilö hehkuttaa useampia kappaleita ja tässäkin tapauksessa jopa meidän käärijää? Jokaisen valinta on toki se, ketä seuraa, mutta suosittelen jonkin asteista Suomalaista järkeä. Sitähän löytyy

As a Finn, i don't like how his verse has more energy than his chorus. For me chorus should be the part that makes the song blow up with you as a listener, but all his vibe and energy is in the verse. It just lacks energy for me. Yes, it has a catch phrase, but that's not enough to win.
