Just one disclaimer which i think is worth mentioning. People might be thinking that Hardik owns this entire watch collection, but often what happens is that people collecting these luxury watches keep on trading them as the market for pre owned luxury watches is always hot and often the owner can sell them at 2x the buying price. So its very likely that Pandya does not have all the watches simultaneously.

See the thing is they don't buy from the grey market , they have connections, they pay retail. He is a famous sports personality, almost all brands like to associate with, mostly boutiques sell them at retail.

The Last three Patek Philillippes you are talking about are after market . The diamonds in them are not factory set so they don't cost that much , his entire collection is around Rs 30 crores not 60 crores . I am not sure about the Rainbow Daytona if it is not factory set then his collection cost around 25cr and one more things the online prices of these watches you are looking are very misleading usually the resale value of these watches are much lower than this online price . Really like your content 👍

1. in house movements. What it means is its easier for you to service the watch at a verified service sentre of the company. Seiko, Alba, Citizen have I house movements. 2. Complexity of dials/movements. If you are buying a seiko quartz chronograph, it's easier to service than buying a seiko automatic and harder is a seiko quartz watch with mechanical chronograph. Cost of servicing is a necessity as you need to service atleast once a year for normal use. 3. Dial polishing. Sometimes, corners are cut in polishing. Check if it's stainless steel or brass. (Most gold plated watches are actually gold plated brass. It's very hard to do plating on stainless still until an ionized coating is done on stainless steel) 4. Glass. If it's is acrylic or hardlex or mineral or sapphire. Acryllic

Many people will now comment that instead he should have invested his money elsewhere and all....but parking money in luxury watches is also an mode of investment for the ultra rich. A luxury watch never depreciates in value, it only appreciates as it becomes rare and the price of the gemstones on it rises.
