I have two boys. When they were small, they got on well together. As they grew older, their interests were completely different. Different friends and different attitudes. They grew apart. Not always on the best terms. But, they appreciate each others talents and you can often hear one complement the other. The younger one is sensitive and feels badly done by. The older one is full of confidence and logic. They both experienced the drama of their father and I getting divorced. It affected the younger son more deeply and he blames it on every bad behaviour he has gone through. The older one takes it in his stride. I understand both sons and love them both. It is hard for a parent to watch a child go down the wrong path and hurt himself more than he hurts anyone else. They would never air their differences in public. They have too much respect for each other and their parents. Harry is the sentimental one. The stories he tells are not exclusive to his family. They portray normal family behaviour. To dramatise them is to try and win over public approval...to make him look like the victim..which he is not. It's time for him to grow up and start behaving like a responsible human being who has it better than most.
