Hyunjin just fire. There's nothing mre to say. Legendary retun to the group. He was suspended for 4 months for allegedly ullying at shool , but the could not really prove anything. When he came back the JIP director asked him " what would you like to do " and Hyunjin said " your choreography " . He did everything himself : the choice of music , dance , costume , location was also chocen by himself . It's very symbolic. The legendary return of the Prince. Bravo. P. S. I don't know if you know this or not but this is how Hyunjin got into the kpop industry (as he narrated it himself): he was once shopping with his mother, and then a JYP employee approached him, grabbed his arm, and handed him his business card. He thought it was some sort of fraud, but he went and that was when his journey started with JYP lmao. He had zero skills by that time, but he trained really hard for 2-3 years before actually making it. He's amazing!

Hyunjin AOTM is the best

I just want to give you a little bit of a look into the choreography that Hyunjin made here, since everything, from the dance itself, through the song chosen, outfit chosen, tiding up his hair and even the props like mirror and the rose - all these things were his idea. Play with fire is a story about beautiful prince (everyone's been refering to Hyunjin as a "prince" since the school) who is considered as just beautiful and elegant and perfect but he has a wild animal inside and his heart is full of fire, especially while he dances. That's why he looks so messy at the end, because every person has flaws and imperfections. At the beginning when he pops and chokes himself it's his true imperfect and wild nature coming out of him, breaking through the "perfect prince shell" and at the end he's choking himself again, silencing that wild nature that can't be released and he just walks away back to his schedules and normal work, back to trying to be perfect in the society and industry that requires perfection in every aspect. It's a dance about passion that burns within him but can't be fulfilled in the way he wants. He showed in this choreography his love for dance, the way he immerses himself into music and dance, trying to convey all the emotions he feels. He said that dancing is a language for him, that he's not that good with words, but he conveys his emotions and thoughts through his dance and paintings. This is his own story he wanted to tell us after four months of being silenced and hidden when he was forced to take a break. That people, no matter how perfect on the outside, can never be equally perfect inside and that we all have emotions that sometimes control us and make their way to the surface, no matter how hard we try to hide or tame them. We all like to play with fire.
