Should you pay black people on July 4 because of slavery? Are you guilty of saying the N word without realizing it? Is there a link between fatphobia and racism? Should white people ask permission to comment on black people’s social media? According to these TikTokers, the answer to all of the above is a resounding yes. Let’s watch and react.

I find it interesting it’s mostly African AMERICAN people considering it’s all the other races who are seeing the brunt of it, especially since 9/11, COVID, and the border crisis I’d even go as far as to say the racism towards white people from Black people is worse than the supposed generalized racism towards Black people that is being implied here

I'm literally traveling abroad in Ghana to visit my Father's hometown where he grew up. On the way, we visited the Cape Coast and Elmina Castles where a lot of the Transatlantic Slave trade took place. Even the tour guides there said that the majority of the slaves traded there were from Slave merchants and tribes that had been conquered and traded by other African tribes from the Northern parts of Africa.

I feel like for the fat thing, you could actually make a pretty solid argument for why being pro-obesity can be pro-racism somehow. Like, you might be able to convince someone who's hyper woke that being supportive of the pro fat movement could simply be a symptom of white supremacy. To these super left-leaning people, they tend to identify everything that can negatively affect black people as an example of racism. To me, I could say that: because black people have a history of slavery and experienced very real anti-black legislation that resulted in their communities living in high levels of poverty even today, their lack of socioeconomic mobility, social class, and living areas have primarily exposed them to sources of food that promote obesity and physical stagnation. Poorer areas mainly having access to places like McDonald's, Carl's Jr., and Wendy's have worked to decrease black people's physical health and make it harder for them to achieve economic success. I would be curious as to what a far-leftist would even say to this.

I would really love to see a video of Samyra Miller breaking down how she has personally been oppressed based on her race or body type. I went to high school with her and she comes from a very wealthy family with a lawyer as a mother, not to mention she was allowed to join the football team even though she never played because she managed to guilt my school into letting her be a player so she could put it on her resume to get into Harvard, which she did. It’s people like this who’ve deluded themselves into thinking they are truly an oppressed group that concern me, because she is legitimately one of the most privileged people I’ve ever interacted with in my life.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: it’s because of the freedoms America gives you that allows you to speak your mind and say what you want to say. @creatornation4460
@creatornation4460 16 күн бұрын
True, but I would speculate the people who claim they have no freedom have never been outside of the USA or other countries with similar freedoms (or not in a tourist town) . Even in places that are "free" like in the South American countries have less abilities to do things. Poverty here is nothing like it is there, The homeless must rely on the kindness of others. They typically do not have food pantries or shelters. A lot of women with 3-4 children living on the streets, begging for money. Disabled people must do the same. They don't have a government disability fund like we do in the USA. You don't have the freedom to drink a glass of water out of the tap in most places because the gov t doesn't put water purification systems in to make the water safe to drink. You have to buy water and a lot of it comes in those big water cooler jugs minus the water cooler. My family is on the lower income side in the USA. We are not homeless, but we struggle. When my kids would complain about never having the money to do fun things or go on vacations, I remind them that we are some of the richest people in the world of 7+/- billion people in the world!

@@creatornation4460 you answer truly resonates with me bc were have been to deep areas of south America and have seen 1st hand the poverty 😢 There are a lot of people here in the USA that have no clue just how good they have it. I have oftenthought maybe we should trade some of these ungrateful US born citizens with citizens of other countries that really want to come and thrive. People need to wake up and appreciate what they have before it is too late and all gone. 🤔 Stay Blessed 😊

I was raised in the rural South. My parents were both openly racist. One Thanksgiving I got tired of my mom using the N word and asked her to stop. She reached over the table and open hand slapped me, and screamed that I should never tell her what she could or couldnt say. I got kicked out of the house for a week and had to beg a friend for a place to sleep. Now I work in a place with a lot of black folks, and hear the word tossed around casually (and in anger) a hundred Times a day. I've heard the social psychology behind black folks using the word. But I still dont get it. I also work with Asians, Pacific Islanders, Eastern Indians and Arabic folks. And not once have I ever heard them refer to their own people with a slang insult. Black folks are the only ones who seem to do this. It makes no sense to me. How can you have so little respect for your own people that you refer to them with a pejorative all the time? And how can you convince the world that this is the worst thing you can be called, when you call each other by this word? There are around 270,000 words in the English dictionary. 47,000 of them are considered obsolete, with hundreds disappearing from our language every year. The N word should have died by social attrition years ago. As long as you use this word in reference to your own race, you will always project a stigma of being "less than". You are not. So dont use it.

My grandpa grew up poor, and he still continues his excessively thrifty habits to this day. My mom and dad started out with very little in their early 20s and already had a kid to take care of. For a time they were living on government food, and they had to work hard to get where they are today. We live comfortably now, which is the reward of the work that my parents, not anyone else before us exploiting black people for profit, achieved. When I was in middle school, in the 90s, I would say "pardon me/excuse me" as I moved through crowds on my way to the next class. A teacher saw this and had me called in to speak with the counselor because they were concerned I was talking to myself. They barely even believed me when I told the truth and threatened to make me see a psychiatrist (at my parents' expense, of course - a threat they later followed through with).

I thought I was pretty non-racist, till all these people started telling me how horrible I am for being White, they started changing my childhood animated cartoon to fit them and still telling me I am bad!!! You ma'am are the problem as you can't leave history in the past! These people just makes me so mad.😡 Okay that second lady makes me want to go comment on her page. 😁 I know how to say excuse me. Don't be lumping me in with others!🤷 Love your content! ❤️

I'm a black man. I once worked at a mental health hospital part time on a college work study program. Had one of the in patients one day yell a bunch of racial epitaphs at me. I laughed at him... I got to go home and he didn't The point is, we got a lot of people walking the streets with mental health problems just like that guy I laughed at. While it might surprise you to hear things like this, just remember, some of us ain't got it all together. So just laugh at it and move on.

When I am standing behind someone and waiting until my turn. I am in no hurry and don't want to rush people. It is not that I don't have the balls to say excuse me, just that I am calm and relax.

I have anxiety so I often wait. Our local store is tiny so I just stop when people stop to gawk at stuff. It's hard to pass them.

I would like more information on the “excuse me” video. Because depending on the situation someone may feel it is rude a do not want to interrupt and therefore are happy to wait . Also there are some black people that would take offense and feel that the person saying excuse is in fact being rude. This seems like a no win scenario here 🤷‍♀️?

I've paid taxes for 51 years. I've never been on welfare, never had section 8 housing, never had my utilities paid except by me, my kids nor I ever received free lunch or any other welfare. Always paid my own way. I've never been wealthy, but always paid my own way and my student loans!

Love when they say we need to ‘unlearn the racism we’ve been taught’. Pretty sure I’ve never been taught any racist opinions or behaviors. I used to tutor a black classmate in middle school that was a football player. The fact that he was black barely registered to me. Not once did I ever think he wasn’t good at math because his skin was darker, I thought he wasn’t good at math because he was a football player. Obviously, not every football player struggles with mathematics. But still, that was my mind went to, not race. And that’s still what my mind would go to today if I was put in the same situation as an adult. Yet we’re also being called racist these days for not acknowledging that there’s a difference between me and that black classmate.

Why do white people not say excuse me. Interesting question. I live in Brooklyn, I am white. When I courteously say excuse to get around a person who is obliviously blocking a side WALK (I capitalize to emphasize that the purpose is to walk, not to stand still in a group and block everyone) the response I get is basically that I said it with a sarcastic tone and I’m an a-hole who should just walk into the street to get around them. Saying excuse me in nice way gets turned back on you, and you are now the rude person. So no, it isn’t worth saying excuse me. I now just walk straight through anyone who refuses to move out of the way.

Yep , and she wants wyt people to say it so she can react negatively to it. I wish i was joking, but being from an all blk area, I have encountered this weird passive aggressive game by BW all my life. They see me coming, they intentionally don't move and then wait to get offended by either reaction of waiting or asking to get by. Not all people, but there's definitely a segment of BW that like to engage in these games with strangers.
