I remember when he came on to the scene with this song. It was constantly played on the radio. I was in the 8th grade at the time (roughly 13-14 years old). I'm now 30. I get so many requests from ladies that I've talked to to sing this when they hear my speaking voice. Lol

Tim Foust from Home Free does a great version of "Your Man". He also does another Josh Turner song with Chris Rupp called "Long Black Train". I think you would really enjoy both songs. Tim is one of the few bass singers today that can really do justice to any Josh Turner song.

I second this, such a good version! If I remember correctly right before he sung it he was telling a story about him and his dad being out on the road and then his dad getting in trouble with his mom for all the things Mo was repeating from the music they were listening to

this song gets covered by guys a lot and generally they push it too deep, his version is well rounded and in a key that shows his voice off without pushing it way down like the folks covering the song do it. as a bonus, this song was written by Chris Stapleton, who clearly found the right guy to release it.

If you are not familiar with country. I suggest listening to Sara Evans entire album "Born To Run" . Amazing Voice great writer , musician , producer... It may be one of the best country albums ever. From Amazing ballots to great country rock & Pop songs. Not a bad song on the album. You will love her music. I hope you are safe in Spain.

hi samantha besides tim foust american idol winner scotty mccreary sang it on idol and sang it at his hometown of garner north carolina and after just performaning 30 seconds of it josh and his band sang this and long black train with scotty type in you tube scotty and jodh duet and you will enjoy it ok have a great rest of your tuesday night bob and teena steinmiller

Hi Scott. In all of my reactions I always put some of the volume down ( just a tiny bit ) And why do I do it because I want you all to hear me. At the begging when I started to react I never did it and in all of my videos I had everyone complaining that they couldn’t hear me. I don’t stop my videos I let the full video go so I want everyone to hear me when I speak. The only one that I didn’t like how it ended was Geoff Castellucci ( when I edit I didn’t put it down like you can all hear in KZfaq)

Wow, that ain’t the Josh Turner I’m aware of! Not my sort of thing but it was well performed, vocals and diction were nice and clear but I’m afraid I thought the video was a bit naff 😂 Just out of interest this is the Josh Turner I know of with Mary Spender a talented musician who has also done a Colab with Leo from Frogleap.
