The biggest reason his feat was impressive is because not only was it no hit, it was CONSTANT no hits, back to back, on a difficult boss on the most difficult game of the series, with multiplied health, over and over for weeks back to back. He rightfully earned all respect he got. He truly did solo her.

His claim to fame was not that he "no-hit" a hard boss. It's that the "no-hit" one of the most infamous(at the time) bosses constantly, 24/7 all day every day.... AS A SUMMON. Sure, people can no-hit bossess after a few attempts by themselves, but as a summon, the boss has way more HP, you have lowered stats(slower TTK), and the netcode was quite bad back when he first started so even the game itself was part of the challenge. People love him because he was the reason many could beat Malenia, whereas all the other "no-hits" done were basically just some dude posting their 1354th attempt and winning, without any of the context to try and look cool. This man straight up video-documented his 1000-0 kill streak against Malenia and every last one of them was under the above stated conditions and done to HELP OTHERS instead of merely make himself look better than everyone else. To my knowledge.

I watched one of LMSH's Livestreams where he said that he had heard this song and that he has it on his playlist.

The whole part about "He can read moves, you either have that skill or you don't" isn't true, and that is a big part of the point. In an interview he said he learned to do it after over 240 loses to her. It's why they mention "I took an L from her plenty of times." He didn't get that good off of talent. He got it off of dedication and hard work. Also the first part where Andrea is singing is supposed to represent Malenia, not Solo. "I don't plan to get hit, so why wear armor?" is also a direct quote from Solo. Also, GiantDad was considered the most optimal PVP build ever, hence the joke that he is the reincarnation of them.

Let Me Solo Her not only inspired and impressed huge Soulsborne fans, but players in other game genres. One of my favorite streamers was inspired to make a Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask No - Hit run challenge that is INSANELY difficult. He FINALLY beat MM No - Hit 100% about a week or two ago and that run was INTENSE.

Like one commenter said "They will sing songs of your great deeds" and we are Indeed lucky to experience it in our lifetime.

I think the main reason why he became such an icon is a mixture of consistancy. He did no-hit runs almost constantly of a very hard and very notorious boss... But also that he did it "with others". He didn't just make a thousand videos of a thousand kills and then leave. No, he did it all "FOR" others. He garnered a reputation by essentially networking, helping others in a moment where they couldn't do it themselves. That made it special and made him beloved.

Part of the reason is the right place and time, but the majority was just respect from any player who played the game. Dude soloed her hundreds of times, with a community of people willing to help him to just fight a boss with a huge learning curve. As you can imagine many players who couldn’t beat her asked for his assistance, and the individual was willing to help lots of players who reached this road block as well. This boss was optional and you didn’t need to fight her to beat the game but to everyone who wants to see all endings it’s nice accomplishment to have done. His outfit I do think played a role as well since it’s that ridiculous.

the reason everyone was wowed with "let me solo her" is because when the video came out malenia was still the cause of most deaths in elden ring plus she is the hardest boss in elden ring. also due to the fact that he was online and had 2 people in his party join him in the fight. malenia had more health, defense, and attack damage. hell i was even shocked that he killed malenia without there help

Fun fact: Let Me Solo Her originally lost to Malenia 242 times in a row. However, these repeated losses allowed him to study every single move she made over and over again. It allowed him to perfect his timing and figure out her patterns. Now he’s taken down Malenia, as a summon, over 2000 times. He wears no armor because, historically in Souls games, the toughest players never wore armor. Why wear armor when you never get hit? The pot helmet is because he admires the character of Iron Fist Alexander. After his 1000th win as a summon against Malenia, Bandai Namco actually sent him a gift. A wooden plaque, a map scroll, and an actual sword inscribed with the words “Rise, Tarnished”.
