shah-jee, lovely poetry and waaat a delivery yaar; shahzzzada lagya ein! 😎one constructive criticism, please erase "takay ka" type of muhawarays from you vocab bro (replace with something more cool sounding akin "abtar") because they are a) rooted in racism and b) sound so fucking bizarre in this day and age... as you know, taka > rupee in today's market (1 taka = 2.3 rupees). ik not your fault that parts of these idioms in our norms are messed up but it can easily be misinterpreted by mass audience and come across pretty offensive to some while it's simply not your intention.. we question, learn 'n evolve!

The writing above the shop door " Dukaan baray e Frokht " means " The shop is for sale now , is the hardest hitting scene. It reflects , the uncle was packing up to bid farewell his longlife sweet books collection, this reflects the young generation gave up on reading books now . Even in Pakistan i visited lahore and islamabad to go to my childhood fav book shops to find some nice books but sadly those shops were replaced with Cafes.

This is Five Star!!! you guys are my new favourites. I could feel your emotions into this video which I believe is the main reason which connects human beings across the world. You're right, Zeeshan is more famous, he had already worked with Xulfi years ago for another platform called Nescafe Basement. His style is different from Star Shah's, it's geared more towards the classical whereas the latter is a rapper (though very melodic) and a poet. What is magical is that both wrote their parts of the song seperately around the same time 5 or so years ago, they had no idea who the other one was or that this is how their poetry would come together. ps...you can find all of Zeeshan Ali's songs on KZfaq.

I loved how you sang in Punjabi, perfected the accent and pronounciation, if only u could understand it, u would hav felt it more, which u already do thou anyways.. Lovve ur reactions, curiousity and connection, love from Pakistan...also do check out S14 after S15, I recomment Phir Millenge from S14. BTW all these songs have subtitles in English, Original language and also original language written with english letter which can help u learn the lyrics more if u want.

Love the details of this song so much. I don’t know if you noticed, the people they show everyone alone (the guy dancing, the guy sleeping in the street, the book shop guy) when Star Shah is singing his bit. But when you switch to Zeeshan Ali, they show people loving each other or thing. (Mom and daughter, lady with cat, etc)

Your singing is commendable and admirable. You sang it beautifully. I can't imagine being that good with any foreign language! I myself am totally consumed with this song... I have it on repeat for a week now....up to the point where I am taking naps with earbuds in my ear!!! This was totally heartfelt reaction. Good job you two. Also, I have to say, it's adorable when you try to repeat urdu/Punjabi words. It's like a little girl learning to speak first words 😊 I am amazed you sometimes speak it so perfectly. Urdu has some very hard phonemes not usually available in other languages... but you said "khawab" perfectly. Kudos to you!
