She dated and married Trevor and fulfilled her wannabe actress dream but wasn’t going the way she dreamed of, then she found Corry and tried cooking and culinary. No wonder why people call her social climber, she is everywhere when it comes to career. She either doesn’t know what she’s good at or just wants to copy what others are good at. She is now trying to do the same to gain fame using Royal status which keeps failing. She is something else, poor Harry who fell into the same pit. The comments about salt is valid in cooking. You notice the pro chef tells her exactly what is needed for the junior chef to improve the taste-salt. M criticizes, but doesn’t suggest what is needed (she probably doesn’t know). You can use citrus or vinegar to increase a “salty” taste without salt, but you have to taste constantly. Lack of seasoning is a really easy mistake and one I would expect a young chef to make.

@@M0odyBlue Yes. Doesn't salt often bring out the flavor? Since my father had heart issues starting when I was eleven, basically my mother completely dispensed of salt. I never got used to it. She never did anything to substitute as you mentioned. And I HATED home cooked food from that point on. I believe moderation is appropriate. I never got used to tasteless food.

You answer the question (if one had it) of why I don't like Meghan Markle in this clip, but I can't exactly put my finger on it. Attention-getting tricks, shameless pretender, being especially critical of a youngster that her inner self recognizes as a competitor. Snow White's step mother would be perfect type casting.

I will never understand how Harry and others couldn’t see how pretentious and contrived she is at every moment. The first time I saw her acting abilities was during their engagement interview and my heart just sank. She’s always just so fake.

I believe others DID see it. But Harry wouldn't listen to their concerns. And I think because Harry is so very daft, he thought she was the most smart, talented, well rounded, beautiful, and sexually pleasing woman evah!! lol. He is as thick as a brick. Harry was an insanely easy mark for Meghan Markle the con artist. He lacks insight, wisdom, loyalty, and intelligence. He thinks with his lower region. He is the spineless king of the simps.

The girl who lives on a farm and didn't add salt knows better than any of the judges what beef and lamb should taste like. The poor girl, she probably never forgot that criticism either. When I was in primary school for cooking class I was told my dish needed more sugar. No, it didn't! But I still remember the unfair criticism. I hope the teacher remembers it now that sugar is considered toxic.

The overusage of salt, especially in affluent societies, is a major health issue, causing hypertension heart attack and stroke. Very irresponsible commentary on a children's show. Besides Meghan seemed rude to this young girl.

I had a friend from metroplex life Texas travel north with me. He'd never been north of TX. He said, the farther north you go, the less salt and the less spice there is in the food! Lol. We went to popular family restaraunts in northern communities with aging populations with a higher level of farmers. Wheat for Kansas, corn for Iowa, livestock etc. I told him that elderly usually prefer less salt taste as we age and their have doctors have most likely recommended a lower sodium diet. There are also more Northern European descendents with pockets from Germany, Norway etc whose food is historically bland. I requested tobasco sauce and handed him a salt shaker and taught him that..."We season our food AFTER cooking around these parts"

There were two REAL chefs there- so they could absolutely give expert critiquing. Why couldn’t Meghan just be positive and complimentary to these awesome children. Did she think she needed to COMPETE with Maneet? Although to be honest the producers of the show pick the sound bites they think will add balance to the show. Meghan wasn’t completely responsible for what ended up in the final product.

i liked how when the farm girl was being interviewed , the other two judges looked smilingly at each other, showing they were bonded. Then Meghan chimed in rather authoritatively about so nkw let’s talk about the food, controlling the dialogue, as if she were the leader. And the tone of her voice was a little threatening . nasty bit of work

I’ve been watching Chopped forever!! Maneeth is a Top Chef!! She knows what she is talking and a pure expert in *Food and Cooking* You can use different types of salts which are healthier. And I have to say it was fair criticism. I can see where M gave the second girl some critique about the size or portions, which they have done. Maybe could have said it differently, a bit easier! The other piece I want to mention is what M is wearing, which I think is inappropriate for this Kids Cooking show! Notice she is showing her shoulders, just like she has been doing lately with her outfits, showing too much or wearing inappropriate outfits; i.e., where she met with parents whose children committed SCIDE!! Totally inappropriate!!

I feel so sorry for those kids, that they would have to get any kind of critique from a woman who knows nothing basically... If they had a junior chopped show on how to grift, then megan is definitely your choice.. It's amazing how she always finds ways to try and talk or introject herself into anything. And if there had been a Mike, hand it to the judges or anybody. Then that's when a big kitchen accident could have happened. Because she would have jumped over or on anyone to grab that 🎤 mic😅😂

I think the PR agency that she hired must have got her this gig, and other ones when she was branching out from Suits acting. The show wanted a pretty face who could act like a know-it-all. Should have had her chef boyfriend as a judge instead.

I doubt she has made so much as a peanut butter sandwich in over ten years. She strikes me as the kind of girl who eats McDonald's drive though on a regular basis. I'm sure she picked up a few buzz words from her chef boyfriend but, that's all. You can't trust her opinion.
