Thanks for the reaction! In my opinion the bsides on fromis_9’s album shine a lot brighter than the title track! I would definitely recommend giving it a listen. I’ve honestly seen fans of Fromis discussing the bsides wayyy more than the actual title track. A lot of the bsides are self-composed by the members too! I know that Wishlist was written AND composed by Jiwon.

They’re technically under Hybe, and a pattern I see a lot with Hybe is that they tend to curate the bsides of their groups with a lot of love and care, which I appreciate so much! An album is a story, so all parts of it being so rich and fleshed out definitely makes it stand out. Hybe has the right idea!

@@LYREMusicGroup Also I’ve noticed Chaeyoung’s vocals in Wishlist seem very similar to your vocal tone! Breathy but still a good amount of depth. Maybe that’s why it reminded me a bit of a Lyre demo at first lol.

Well actually, they always released a positive and empowering songs before Doxa, and this is their first time talking about toxic relationship 😂. What I love about Secret Number is their distinct vocal colours. Each member has their unique tone. They have 2 members with lower and deeper tone, 1 light airy tone, 2 powerful vocals, and 1 badass hiphopy rapper. And they always sing with their natural voice since debute. I know the tendency of kpop groups singing in a certain tone, higher pitch. But Secret Number never do that. What I don't really like of this release is just they use too much effect which for me it's wiping their vocal character. It's a shame because for me their diverse vocal colours is their strength. Anyway, thank you for checking out their lates release. I hope you can do it again in their next ones.
