A&T had a lot of intonation issues, especially in their ballad from the trumpets. JSU's sound, power, entertainment, and crowd participation was in a league of its own. 🔥

A&T was simply better! Their fieldshows are the best! Golden Delight is #1! Hands down, they embody a full auxiliary throughout!

I'm sorry SBOTS show was way better however A&T sounds good but JSU was way more entertaining IMO and how was this battled judged seriously 😂🤬🙋🏾🤷🏾

NCAT & Golden Delight definitely gave the judges what they wanted and they always have the best fieldshows!

The BGMM won fair and square! They ALWAYS understand the assignment when it comes to these type of events. And fieldshows in general!

The only thing ncat has over jsu is flags. I cant knock jsu for that but i cant fault ncat for having flags. Really curious on the scoring bcuz these bands are complete opposite. Jsu has to work harder for the lack of not having a flag team. It comes off that ncat had the upper hand and jsu was docked for not having the flag team and or ncat got more points for having a flag team. Both bands did well, both teams had some mess ups. This is an unbias opinion and judging from what I saw and heard.

NCAT came to a band competition. They put on a master showcase performance for a competition. JSU did an awesome job but came to perform at a football game. By all means this was a band competition for BAND OF THE YEAR. A&T is known & equipped to perform in these types of settings. Both shows had some flaws. But overall performance A&T show was better point blank and period. They put on a stunning performance that showcase more than just marching and dancing. They gave you versality from musicianship marching auxiliary. They gave you a drum feature a flag feature. They showcase more than one style of marching. A&T showed so much more technique in their show compared to JSU There show was colorful & pleasing to watch. THE ONLY PEOPLE who feel otherwise are JSU fans....trust and believe the band members know why they lost. So when people say A&T was not in the same ball park....uhmmm wrong they were right were they suppose to be...if anyone wasn't it was JSU, this was a Band competition not a football game.

JSU reminds me of a concerto. JSU was much better. Gyrations were A&T. The criteria allowed for JSU to place 2nd.

The reason why this wasnt one of A&T top shows in the timing for preparation if it was like the amount given like that do for the Honda A&T wouldve been more flasher, more outfit changes a more wow factor

Drumline = A&T Auxiliary = A&T Drum Majors = A&T General Effect = A&T Music = JSU Now you add the scores and see who. It’s stupid to say JSU won when you look at all those categories. I bet A&T won all those categories by more than 10 pts…. Do research on score sheets prior to saying JSU got robbed don’t lose your credibility if you don’t know…. You don’t know

JSU had a better sound in this competition. A&T had a better overall show. I'm sure they probably deducted points on certain things. I love J5 but those suits are a NO. The shirts looked sloppy at points.

Because of the corp style elements like keeping the sound towards the audience, the various features -although too busy for me - and the versatility that GD shows. I can see why they won. J-State is still top tier because with the steady traditional style, one could still hear what they were playing, and they played some of the best Usher songs. Take the judges away, and it boils down to a show featuring one artist’s catalog or the various artists.

One thing i know.they can't march and play at the say time. Too much walking.

Funny thing everyone want to be an expert, but not respect the fact A&T sound better. Souther n people think being loud is what music is all about. Unfortunately that isn't the fact.

One drawback of the step-2 drill is that you lose sound when JSU is marching towards the end zones. Visually it's stunning, but sound wise it doesn't hit the same. I did notice that A&T seems to be aware of where those bells are pointed during most of their movements, allowing us to get the full experience musically, especially during the chorus. You don't hear that sound drop off at any point during A&T's show, unless it's an intentional use of dynamics.

If you're talking about arrangements JSU YES, overall A&T for show & flags,JSU needs flags and better field show. If you're from SWAC other HBCU conferences you'll think this was JSU WIN but they need and flag corps to me for complete show. A&T is not a stand type band vs JSU two different types conferences and mind sets. Jsu not totally a interesting field show band but this was a step in the right direction. Same for A&T in the stands. By the way N.C. A&T is no longer in the MEAC conference for those that don't know. Both bands still did a awesome job!

We got penalized by not having a flag corpse and auxiliary! Not fair to some SWAC bands!

I really think J state only lost because of a squad mess up in the drill. They don’t show it in their video but you can see it in others. Both shows was dope though.

Don't be butt hurt, with JSU using a Usher show as a theme they needed bring that visual out on the field that would require Jackson to be very creative and this wasnt remotely close to what they needed. So, they decided on using difficulty to counter their lack of creativity to hopeful even it out. It wasnt clean so JSU robbed themselves by taking a risk knowing there be problems. Messing up patterns. JSU missed this assignment periodt!!!!!
