Let me just say the MAJORITY underestimated TXT debute and álbum in general by comparing them to other 4th gen groups who were doing some dark hiphop shit but txt debute with crown which is lively and not many kpop fans accepted it and thought it wasn’t “cool”, but to me it was, their youthful debute just resonated with me bc I was also an early teenager like them so I’ve pretty much grown with them by each of their comeback era as they mature more though their music story plots n meanings behind them, I wasn’t bombarded with dark hip concept every comeback like you would with most 4th gen groups. The fact that txt trained with hiphop and bighit ended up changing their minds and gave them a youthful song to debute with instead of a dark hiphop song means something , the members have said that hiphop is in their blood and they were finally able to show it in gbgb. RM recently said in bts festa in which they announce taking a break and doing solo activities and he said that the problem with the whole kpop idol system is that they don’t give you time to mature and one of the reason they need to take a break to find themselves individually bc they feel like they haven’t grown individually. Therefore, I understand why bighit decided to do things differently with txt since debute because they didn’t want to do the same mistake they did with bts.

I think some people dislike the song, because they don't understand what it's about. The song is about that first crush that you have when in high school. How you never want to leave your crushes side, and how you want to protect them always.

Really? This song is hated? I have yet to meet/talk (in person or through texts or comments) to someone who hated this song. Personally, I vibe to this song a lot. They've also been growing a lot and their recent comebacks have been some of my favorites throughout all my kpop journey. Really recommend you to react to some of their newer songs: 0x1=Lovesong (I know I love you) Loser=Lover Good Boy Gone Bad ...and tbh the whole Thursday's child album cause that is a no skip album for me. It includes opening sequence, good boy gone bad, trust fund baby, lonely boy, and Thursday's child has far to go.

I don't agree with the title of this song at all, I'm not trying being rude or anything but its facts. cat & dog goes viral almost every day and a lot of fandoms use yeonjun rap for edits with song of their faves. I think is just a thought some people have but I really think a lot of people inside this community likes this song

this is a booooop, and a viiiibe a hard beat with a quirky/cute concept, and a rap part that starts with "feel like cinderella"... I'm sorry but how could this not be iconic? ii'ts one of the most anticipated songs in txt's concerts, everyone barks along to it. (we're gonna see that happening again soon, since they're beginning the act: lovesick tour in a few weeks.)

This song is actually dark and deep af if u take time to process and decipher the lyrics. People in general think TXT have always been "generic, cute, bubblegum kpop", but they’ve been on their deep shit since debut😂. To put it simply, their videos and vibes most of the time don’t match their lyrics whatsoever.

Not only it is viral, whenever it's performed, MOAs literally bark for the boys. Guess it's hated coz they just never heard fans bark before for a song before. LOL Also this is part of their concept. TXT is all about experiences growing up. They've always been consistent about it that's why in their debut days, you'd see them looking youthful unlike other groups who are immediately all badass. With TXT, you'd feel that you're growing up with them or at least watching them grow. I really recommend you try to listen to their songs bit by bit. One song is not enough to see TXT's color as artists. They are very versatile with genres. Please, if you're gonna listen to TXT's songs, try "Eternally" BUT go with a lyric video/audio first before jumping to the next video if you plan to.

This song is not bad in any sense - musicality, production, catchiness - nothing about this is bad, in fact it is very very good. Back when TXT debuted and this song came out, there was an influx of "dark concept" boybands. And while some of them were good, a lot of them made songs where the "darkness" felt forced and almost a dime a dozen. TXT's debut was a breath of fresh air. As a Kpop fan for over 10 years now, I know for a fact that when a group's debut is disliked because it is different, they are going to make it BIG. TXT rejected the formula being practiced by the whole damn industry and debuted with something that was different, age appropriate and honestly, musically brilliant. They let themselves grow along with their concepts and that is rare to see. None of their concepts have ever come across as forced or in your face because they chose their own pace and i genuinely appreciate it. Now imagine, this is 2019, every single boy group is "tough". You're seeing 16-17 year old boys trying to act gansta af (a miss for me personally lol) and that's what's selling. Que TXT - a group of 5 adolescents who know not to take themselves seriously because guess what, they admitted they were just young kids - not some tough ass thug asses. Now, i am not discrediting the dark concepts AT ALL! I am a fan of them and a lot of groups have done is very well in 4th gen - ATEEZ, Stray Kids, etc. But this concept fits naturally for them. They don't act tough, they just are cool. But the general mindset of the Kpop community back then was that darker concepts were "superior". So when 17-18 year old TXT were behaving their age, it came as a shock. But Kpop needed that shock. TXT is one of the groups that brought back the uniqueness in Kpop in the 4th gen. And now people acknowledge, fans and non-fans alike, that they don't have 1 bad song. Majority of the Kpop fans know their b-sides and because they debuted by being different, they are unique till this date. They have done dark concepts now that they're grown but it is very very unique. You should genuinely check out their discography from debut till now. Trust me, you'll be blown away. P.S. - If this song came out now, it would be charting in the top, not be made fun of or called "weird".

Most people who do not like this song either have a problem with the heavier autotune and/or the concept. If you don’t get the deeper meaning of this song than it seems childish. If you want to know more about the members personalities, please watch Jessi’s Showterview and 2021 MMTG interview (don’t skip the CSAT banned songs one). They are amongst the most iconic ones.
