Immortal Songs invites 6-7 established singers or groups who are stars in their own genres (pop, rock, theater, traditional Korean, classical, R&B, etc.) to reinterpret well known songs related to the theme for the episode. The show pays all performers. The studio audience votes for their favorite performance but there are no prizes (except a trophy) nor advancement to another round. Sohyang has participated 10 times between 2014 and 2023. Some episodes feature multiple jaw dropping numbers.

I have heard thousands and thousands of songs in my life but this has to be the very best duet I have ever heard. It is also one of the best vocal performances I have ever heard. Others keep comparing Amon Morissette to SoHyang but it is not even close. SoHyang is far above any other female vocalist I have ever heard. I own a collection of over 20,000 records ranging from the 1890’s-now and SoHyang IMO is the GOAT. Even better than Dimash!

Although I love and adore Sohyang, I still prefer listening to the original number by Park Hyo Shin.
