I agree about Purple Kiss. At first listen, ofc it will reminds you of Dreamcatcher 'cause first of all it's dark concept and second of all, MHSAB has a rock genre. But actually, it's totally different from the sound of Dreamcatcher. That song is actually a fushion of genres. It's not only rock genre. At every parts, you can hear different genres and I think that's so cool that they did some experiment in ths song. Also for addition, their next pre release song is not like this so idk about the genre/concept of their debut. One thing is for sure, since it's RBW, they will not stick in one genre/concept

purple kiss did such a great job with this pre debut single, the dance line did the choreo themselves, and Yuki (the rapper) wrote her verses herself too. they did this while missing one of their main vocals, which is pretty impressive considering that the song is pretty vocally heavy and it shows how good of a vocalist each and every member is. plus they're all around 18-20 years old, kinda common for a debuting group these days but I still find it very impressive how they're capable of so much being this young (the missing main vocal is literally a '03 liner).

For purple kiss they said themselves in an interview that they want to showcase their ability to pull of different concepts just like how mamamoo can. So we can expect them to change it up with their next song

The members of Purple Kiss actually self-produced and choreographed My Heart Skip a Beat. I believe they also worked on their debut trailer songs which are all different genres of music and have different concepts. They have stated that their debut will be different from what they’ve done before, they just chose My Heart Skip a Beat as their pre-release because it is very powerful and gives an impactful first impression. I predict that they will be a group like Gidle where every comeback is a different sound and a different concept. They have already shown how versatile they are so I’m really excited for their debut.
