Whitney is living proof that being unproblematic makes you age gracefully

Lauren admits something very important, and it is taking responsibility for the actions she did, without blaming anyone else, and that is difficult. Spencer or Heidy could never admit this at this point, so I think she made amends for herself.

Heidi is such a bad liar. Also, Spencer is forever in the house. I love how the show didn't even try to pretend like he had a job outside of shooting the show.

I'd love to hear Timmy's perspective falling in love with Whitney and vice versa! You all have made small comments here and there about when it was happening, but it'd be great to hear the full story about how it unfolded behind the scenes. I bet it's adorbz. (If this has already been done in an old video, I'm sure I'll catch it at some point :))

Lo is the kind of girl who is always mean to you but in a “joking” way and then wonders why you don’t like her and thinks your the one with the problem. Also I always thought JB was a jerk when I watched as a teen but now I totally understand where he is coming from.

Fair play to Lauren for apologising to Audrina and admitting she's been judgemental, that's hard but that's growing up, that's why I loved this show!

Lo is so passive aggressive negative.. She was so comfortable making Justin Bobby feel left out and uncomfortable. She is that friend that makes you feel like they have your back. But they are low key planning your demise. I've never been keen on her.

I think Lauren needed Brody to go on camera and say Heidi & Spencer started the rumors. I think that’s what the real tension was in that restaurant scene. He had probably told her the truth in private, but admitting it publicly (in front of the cameras) for the show was an entirely different thing. Him speaking up & putting the blame on Heidi & Spencer was validation for Lauren and simultaneously proving Brody’s loyalty to her... just my opinion.

Lauren’s voice was so raspy. Hearing her talk now, as an adult, just feels like someone else is talking lol

Shrugging was such an integral part of the dialogue scenes in this show hahaha

You guys! In the next episode, pay attention to when Lauren and her date are talking on the beach. At the same time they’re talking alone. The camera cuts across to their friends and in the same shot, her date is also with her friends across the beach 😂😂😂

I have been loving these recaps and finally have something to contribute! Hahah. I have met Lo twice. Once was around 2010/11, and I had just started going to FIT. At the time my friend lived by Lincoln Center and there was a short cut to get to the train that they had been using as a backstage for shows. I cut through and ended up bumping into Lo and Stephanie. I was super excited and went up to them saying that I loved them on the show. Stephanie was so nice and asked about what I was doing in the city and if I liked FIT, so nice! Lo glared at me and barely said hi. It always rubbed me the wrong way. Fast forward to March 2020, right before lock down, I was bartending at cool date spot place in the West Village. There were only 2 or 3 couples in there and I saw her come in to meet a date. She said hi to him, put down her bag and came to the bar to order. She ordered a dirty martini and was so polite and asked me how my night was going and if I thought we were gonna close for COVID. They stayed for the drink and went to dinner and she made sure to say thank you again and goodbye. It completely changed my mind on her and I had to remember, these girl were 21/22 doing this. Such a strange age of learning who you are, who you are in the world, transition of life and school. There are a lot of things I have done ten years ago that I cringe about, but as long as you grow, right? Hers happened to be on a reality show, but she also coined the name Justin-Bobby, so... not all bad.

Lo's behaviour toward Justin is low key bullying. I feel like people don't recognise it because it's towards a man rather than a woman but she goes out of her way to make Justin uncomfortable, she says mean things behind his back etc. If this was toward a girl it would be so much more recognisable. Felt like Lauren showed real growth in this episode recognising that she has been judgemental in the past and her beviour hasn't been perfect either. That being said Spencer is still toxic and manipulative. Him telling Heidi that she clearly doesn't love him because she has to sort out a work issue is just disgusting. Such an awful, manipulative thing to say to someone. Relationships shouldn't be like that.

The sex tape rumors weren’t even the real problem. It was the comments Spencer made publicly on his blog about Lauren’s body parts. That was so low and not okay. I would honestly never talk to someone again either if their husband said those things about me. Lauren did not want that comment mentioned on the show so they are deflecting with the sex tape rumors

Gosh this show makes me feel so nostalgic that I’m almost emotional. Life was so different back then, a time I’m sure we all wish we could go back to somedays given the current circumstances. I remember thinking I was so hot in the boring Midwest trying to dress like Lauren on my way to the skating rink on a Friday night. Life was good

Lo's unhealthy obsession with Justin is weird. I thought it was weird when the show first aired. Personally I think it's because she couldn't handle someone not showing interest in her (platonically) or not liking her and she responds by being passive aggressive by trying to get the others (Lauren, Brody, Audrina) to join her crusade to validate that something must be wrong with Justin. He isn't interested in getting to know her & it bothers her to the core. Also justin was pretty cool. let's be honest and Lo was very plain jane, so I think inner insecurities emerged as well. I'll make my point about her toxic codependency with Lauren when we get to season 4.

When Jen confront Heidi for Heidi to say “do you think I would do something like that?” And “I would think you would know me better?” Is so manipulative!
