Not 100% sure as I write this, but Kristen tells Audrina and JB to make like a tree. Spencer and Heidi perpetuate a charade on us and themselves with whatever storyline they are involved in on their totally separate and terrible show. Any scene with Stacy the Bartender is a snoozefest. Similar to Whit, Kristin didn’t want any of her real friends getting involved in the shows drama, so they pulled in Stacy. What if Nana and Kristen had become friends?

Justin is the ultimate gaslighter. He LOVES the mind games. His rants of word diarrhea may have worked on Audrina, but Kristin just isn't buying it and he doesn't know what to do. Am I wrong for enjoying this ?

But also, he’s FAKING all of it. He had already admitted years ago that he and Heidi were actually just very close friends and it was more of a brother-sister-esque relationship. But it was producers that thought their hot and cold relationship would make good TV because Justin refused to ham it up for the camera so Audrina’s reactions to his blasé attitude always helped push the narrative. Kristin also admit (I think barely a year after it ended) that neither she and Justin, nor she and Brody ever really rekindled their romance, and Jayde even admitted that they became friends when they met. I think ultimately this was the biggest failure and downfall of the show. When producers were simply manipulating behind the scenes and editing a certain way for seasons 2-4. It was much easier to suspend disbelief, but season 5 became so heavily produced and “written” that it was way too obvious.

I watched Laguna while it was airing, loathed Kristin. Re-watched as an adult, loved Kristin! She's got such an effortless, cool confidence & is so naturally beautiful. It's refreshing seeing a naked face & a long sleeve t once in a while!

I loved her as a teen because I wanted her confidence and saw that she could get any guy. As an adult, she gives off “not like other girls” vibes and puts girls down any chance she gets. One thing I always loved about Lauren on lacuna and the hills is that she always put her friends first over guys.

I think I both loathed and admired her. Loathed cause of the indoctrination of only one girl at a time having the space to shine, which meant that girls like her would always get that spotlight and girls like me would never get it. Admired cause of the confidence and independence she had at that age, when most of us (at least me!) were quite insecure and dependent on what other people thought of us. There is definitely still sides to her that aren't great, but all of us have dark sides. That's kind of the fascinating thing about people, nobody's 100% good or 100% bad. Also, LOVE this cultmunity!! 😍

I thought the same.in the first watch of LB you think Kristen is awful because she can be quite rude but rewatching as an adult you’re like hang on, her and Stephen were in an actual relationship and LC constantly flirts with him so no wonder Kristen was rude 😅 (I suspect Stephen was actually the one at fault for all that because he was leading both on)

I did not love Kristin but I only knew her from one or two episodes of Laguna and whenever she was on The Hills randomly. I also have to say I didn’t give her a fair chance at all but just because I was 1000% team Lauren. Still am team Lauren but I’ve grown to adore Kristin ❤️❤️

Yup! That’s exactly how I have felt about Vanderpump Rules for a whiiiile now, it’s ridiculous that they try to act like so many of them are just struggling bartenders and servers while showing their Valley Village homes😂 plus they show Tom Tom so it’s kinda confusing what lies they’re trying to keep up with. They should’ve broken the 4th wall after like s3.

I have binged this ENTIRE SERIES and now I am watching in real time. I was rewatching the hills after, I heard Heidi on Call her Daddy. Your videos were in my recommendations (so happy it did) and now I prefer watching it with you guys! Whitney you are such a role model with everything regarding motherhood, wife, individualism, and business. I am happy you are sharing so much because I relate SO MUCH. Your miscarriage story was one of the most relatable videos. I have been watching and listening to everything you both are doing. My husband also watches. Thank you for being vulnerable, being real, and then sharing it with all of us, which can be the hardest part. Your drive inspires me and I just want to say thank you. I hope you read this! I remember watching The Hills when it first aired (I was probably around 14 - 17 ??) and I haaaated Kristin. But now watching it as an adult (28) I love her! Even though she is the definition of a 'pick me' girl and is sooo cringy about being "one of the boys", she is super confident, cool and has a backbone.

Actually I read that Scheana Shay was friends with them both in 2016 so I think they were genuinely friends although I'm not sure anymore... but she did move to Tennessee so I don't think she's really close to anyone from California anymore.

At this point, I believe she had fallen out with everyone from LB lol. “Alex H.” was her roommate for a while in LA, but they had a falling out because Kristin went really Hollywood. Jessica wasn’t really friends with her either. I don’t know who else from LB would’ve been a natural friend to introduce.

Audrina was trying to keep brody from dating kristen again and audrina secretly, and very truly, want to be with brody in my opinion. Kristen doesnt play games....that doesnt make her a player, bc she wont play games. Audrina loves the games, she wants brody, he doesnt want her like that, so audrina keeps justin around just in case. Just my take.

This is exactly when I stopped watching The Hills. The story lines seemed waaaaay too scripted, the relationship between Lo and Audrina was so unrealistic, no more Lauren and Whitney 😢, and Stacey the bartender being friends with Kristin? Wtf?! Right now I’m taking a break from studying for my grad class, reading about string theory, space, multiplicity shit & this is a MUCH needed break! You two feel like family to me it’s so relaxing. My mom died a few years ago and since I’ve lived alone and I love learning and academia, but it’s nothing if you don’t have happiness, joys in life and family and you guys give me a sense or taste of that. Audrina and Kristin admitted they never wanted to have that catfight, but producers wouldn't let Audrina leave until they would. So they pulled each other aside and said "let's just do this to get it over with."

Kristin Cavallari first dated Brody Jenner after being on the MTV reality series Laguna Beach. She told Bethenny back in 2012 about their relationship, saying: “I dated Brody when I was 18, right after Laguna Beach, actually, and that's it." For a year they dated but it was on again/off again apparently. Fun fact apparently Talan from LB introduced them

So during S2 of Laguna Beach, Kristen dated that football player at USC who went on to join the NFL, and then a couple of boyfriends later Kristen and Brody dated. It was roughly during filming for season 1 of The Hills. During the year ish that they dated, Heidi and Kristen were friends and she asked Kristen to find her a boyfriend, so Kristen told her boyfriend at the time (Brody) that she was looking to hook her friend up with a guy and Brody thought his best friend Spencer would be a good fit, and so she introduced Heidi & Spencer, which is how they originally met. Shortly thereafter Spencer started appearing on the show - first at the end of S1, and then became a regular in S2. As for Kristen and Brody rekindling their relationship in the end of S5 and into S6 - that was completely fake. Him and Jayde really did date for a decent amount of time, but broke up and then during filming for S6, I believe Brody was with Avril Lavigne. Him and Kristin dated waayy before she was on the show. Anyway that is the Kristin dating timeline!

I was looking for the answer in the c section but couldn’t find it so here it is: Kristin and Brody dated from 2005-2006 when she was 18. So right after Laguna Beach but right before The Hills (according to google).
