They have one more episode or so in the series. Producers banned them from being on the show shortly after this episode was filmed -- and it was cuz of that blowup that Spencer had. It apparently legitimately frightened producers, crew, and cast.

Yes, but I heard he actually took it out verbally and/or physically on a production team member. It was that day, I think.

Spencer wasn't hamming it up for the cameras at this point -- he was deep into something (or deeply on something). It's scary watching Heidi sit motionless in that scene, frozen; she used to speak up whenever something was wrong.

They have this weird thing where they “have each other’s backs” which translates to them justifying shitty behaviour in the name of “loyalty”. They’re not interested in being better people and calling each other out on their bullshit. They just want to be a team. Of assholes. Because at least they have each other.

@@sharonm.t.2492 100%. It’s so sad to see how money and fame can really alter some peoples morals! Especially since Heidi regrets the surgeries. I always said if she had just one one surgery like her breast implants she probably would have been happy with that and not done her face, but I bet you she went in for a breast augmentation surgery and the surgeon ended up persuading her to get more done. I’m in Canada but a friend of mine went for a breast augmentation and the surgeon ended up making her feel so bad about her body and face (said they weren’t symmetrical) she ended up getting so much work done she looked like a frozen piece of plastic, she HATED how she looked and got more surgeries to try and fix it and it’s just so sad how she sees herself now and it threw her into such a deep depression, it was so hard to watch her struggle. I have a feeling that Heidi’s doctor did something similar🤷🏻‍♀️😣

Anger issues, traumatized from Heidi almost dying and maybe drugs.

I think he has a lot of anger + rage! He admitted after the show finished , that certain producers had asked him to do certain things like leave Heidi at the alter on their wedding day, also in the scene above with Stephanie at Kristin party, he also said in an interview that the producers asked him to punch Stephanie in the face and he refused. I think the producers said they wouldn’t be on the show and didn’t comply. I think also as well he was angry that many certain people like Holly + Stephanie were too involved in his relationship and also Stephanie had been caught having a DUI and other things like he didn’t like the fact that Stephanie was caught up with Kristin drama and too caught up with the show and what the producers wanted. Also he was getting a lot of media blame for Heidi surgery even tho she’s admitted in an interview it was her surgeon who did the procedure that there was stuff wrong with her body and because she was insecure she went and did that . Behind close doors Spencer could of said ‘Heidi you are beautiful as you are’ and Heidi went and did and he supported her but this never airs and the press run with him being the bad guy. There’s probably more to the Stephanie situation then what is seen on camera. Also the fame and not being able to deal with the ‘bad guy persona ‘ all the time. In their documentary they admit to loved fame but it pushed them into debt and they had to rebuild their lives. I think Hollywood fame and storylines and producer manipulation and reality tv can make anyone become psychologically difficult as you don’t know who to trust. I think at this point Spencer doesn’t really trust anyone apart from maybe a few handful of people and he thinks everyone is out to get him and particularly he felt Stephanie was part of that with the producers. Maybe? Honest answer: I don’t know

Also I’m not excusing any behaviour here - I think it’s pretty obvious that Spencer has a lot of internal anger towards everyone that’s he’s kept him and never dealt with
