Btw I am one of the biggest Little Mermaid fans ever, I was 10 when it came out and still in my 40s have Ariel purses, bags, clothing, scarves, the whole nine LOL and Halle is PERFECT. This is the first live action Disney film that even looks watchable to me, and I didn't have high hopes because I haven't enjoyed the few I've seen.

i will say only one thing... the real little mermaid story is a very sad story... i am not talking about Disney crappy films that has a point...is for kids... the little mermaid is a book or a tale from the danish writer Hans Christian Andersen written in 1837. And is originally a saaaad story. I only hope that because this new little mermaid is a dark skinned mermaid they don´t use the original story because that would be the biggest crap nade by Disney.
