also, jhope is the main dancer! he's in charge of the making sure the choreography is up to par and everyone is where they're suppose to be and all that good stuff.

Jimin and jhope are main dancers. They are on the same level but jhope is in charge of practicing the choreo first and adding his own choreo then teach to the members. While Jimin is in charge of of course also teaching the other members aome part they are having difficulty with, but jimin mainly shows his 'main dancer' vibes on tv/broadcast.

For me their is a difference between Hobie and Jimin. I don‘t know what is right and what is wrong, because everyone says other things. But i think Hobie is the main dancer and Jimin is one of the lead dancers. I never saw Jimin teaching choreographys or making on of them by himself. I‘m not degrading Jimin, but Hobie is technically way better. But i can be wrong and somewhere it‘s written that Jimin is a main dancer too 🤷🏻‍♀️ the whole dancing line has their own unique dance techniques, so who cares 😁

Jjang Jjang Man Boong Boong imagine putting down Jimin to uplift Hobi, when Jimin is the most versatile dancer in the group. Anyways Jimin and Hobi are main dancers, and Jungkook is the lead dancer. Hobi also is dance captain which means he helps the choreographer with the routine. You got dance captain mixed up with main dancer.

So the reason you guys notice new stuff is probably because they just didnt have it in the mv

Also, it's funny you guys mentioned Senegal bc the instruments used in Idol (especially the drums) are African influence. That's what I loved most about this song. The trailer (before they dropped the music video) heavily featured traditional East Asian instruments, BTS clapping back at people saying they were becoming too "Westernized" and then they hit them with this shit with the African influence. On the 'uh uh ooh oh' part, the dance they do is called 'Gwara Gwara'. A South African dance. Iconic. Though, they did perform the other version recently at MMA lol Still though.

Only react to the ones with English subs, and realize that a lot of the humor is funny because of BTS inside jokes, Korean language play on words mixed with English, and things that are based on their culture, which is very confusing to people from other countries. Most of the cringy interviews last year were caused by trying to make people laugh, but what is funny in Korea isn't understandable to Americans. (ie. Jungkook calling Jimin "Jimin-sii!" is funny because of their culture, but the rest of the world won't laugh or understand why they're laughing.)

Jimin is the one who puts a ton of strength into his moves because he has a martial arts background. Both Jimin and J-Hope are main dancers, by the way. And Jimin has choreographed the hat trick in WAB: Pt 2 as well as his Black Swan solo.

The thing I love most about Kpop dance choreo is that everyone gets their time to shine well some but it’s just more interesting when everyone is not in the frame 24/7 like for example in nct 127’s regular, mark and taeyong have a significant part in the song where it’s just the two of em dancing as well as the other members in certain parts of the song. I just honestly find that so interesting and it gives the dance a little more effect and movement

You guys need to watch more BTS dance practice !! DANGER is one of their hardest choreography, if you like hip hop / street style choreo u should watch DANGER / FIRE / DOPE dance practice. If u like more urban style choreo its FAKE LOVE & BLOOD SWEAT N TEARS dance practice
