Yes, I LOVE this... even though it wasn't my favourite of Vidbir (Go Tsunamia!)... BUT that's only because Ukraine had insanely high quality NF and there were many songs that would've gone straight to top10. This is definitely going to top 5 if not for the win! ❤ from Finland to 💛💙

The budget on the production of the national contest was cut in twice (as most of the budget is retransferred in the war against Russian aggression). It was recorded in a supertiny concert hall a day before broadcasting g (again safety measures because of the possible missile attack). I

I'm so f*cking happy & started crying pf happiness! 💙💛🇺🇦 Do I necessarily want them to win Eurovision? No, because I think a country who hasn't won in a long time (France for example) or a country that has never won deserves to win (Slovenia so far for example). If you ask why the jury gave them 2nd place, it is because technically the other group performed relatively better. Well, that's how they explained it. But I can confidently say that one of the three jury members gave them first place, since the jury said that they could not determine the order of the top three. In any case, more than half of the audience gave alyona alyona & Jerry Heil 1st place. All other participants were voted for by those who remained.

Our jury was reculant to praise this song as it has a religious vibe and lines. According to them, it can lead to false belief that Ukrainians are only Christians. We have many religions to choose from. Usually, we do it freely, and it is also ok to follow none of them. I voted for this song cos Alyona's lyrics were about women's struggles and strengths, and honestly, it is the best part of the performance. The rest is nice, but it is for hype only.
