If you listen to the ost of the anime of this song which was sang solely by Zhou Shen who also sang the background sound at the end, you'll find that it's better than this one.

Originally, Big Fish was supposed to be sung by a top female singer, and Zhou Shen was asked to sing the demo. When the negotiations with the top singer failed, the team liked Zhou Shen's performance and gave him a chance although he was not famous at this time. Big Fish helped him during his process of being accepted by the public and became his signature song. Zhou Shen and Guo Qin did a wonderful job performing this beautiful song. Their voices harmonize very well together.

Zhou Shen's voice is high but feather light while Guo Qin's voice is high but has some beautiful weight to it. His voice takes us to the sky and the heavens while her voice grounds us to the Earth. My favourite combo.

Yes 🙌🏽 whenever I get the opportunity to hear this MASTERPIECE I take it. Zhou Shen was like a mentor for her as a competitor. I love his beautiful angelic sound.
