peter hoofs, I seriously doubt that. I think that when she started on Holland’s Got Talent she was probably self taught. Her performance then makes that obvious. Her breathing was pretty poor, but I’d make allowances for her 9 year old lungs for that, and her Italian pronunciation had that guttural Germanic tone-she is Dutch, so that, too, was understandable. What was never in doubt was the voice. It’s so good to see that she’s continued to develop and, as long as she’s not overstretched, she will be an even greater singer in the future.

I love Jackie and Amira both and buy both of their music. Thank God these young ladies don't stoop to this type of behavior. It is only the so called adults that do. I have not heard any auto tune in Jackie's music. Grow up!

@@ralphhutchinson9318 where did I say anything about autotune. What are you talking,g about? I happen to like Jackie's voice too. My comment was about the increased reverb they are using on her recordings and performances. I think it's just too much and I wish they would stop it. She doesn't need it and I don't like it, Her voice just doesn't need it. I know some of her fans think it sounds emotional and romantic. I just can't stand that slight echo. I've always been bothered by it.. With Judy Collins they started using so much of it I couldn't listen to her anymore. All through her career that kept adding more and more reverb. She sang an Amazing Grace and it sounded like she was singing in the bottom of a well. A lot of her fans loved it too. I thought it was just awful. A matter of taste, I guess. I don't know why the sound techs always think more is always better.

Amira didn't "steal" the song--it's been around for many decades--nor did she steal any performance. She performs in her own style, but she sometimes emulates other singers if she and/or her producers believes their style might be something worthy of such emulation.
