We will see how this draft turns out and gutey isn’t right EVERY DRAFT! He’s missed more often than hit and that’s the nature of his job…. But imo, this was his worst one yet. The 2nd rd was great! After that, I’m not so sure… even pick 25 was a REACH

I’m loving the Packers OLine and Safety depth now. What was an area of concern is now strength and it will only get stronger as coaching kicks in to develop techniques. Josh Jacobs is going to have a monster season with this Packers OLine. Packers improved in so many ways and we were set to be great before this 2024 NFL draft. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

BAS is like a kid at Christmas with this pick🤣 It feels soooo good when you get a player that you really wanted to be a Packer. I wanted Edgerrin Cooper so badly. Surprisingly i got alot of blowback from people saying that i overvalued him even at 45 and he was gonna be barely at replacement level production for the LB position. All i know is he has elite traits and athletesism and has a nose for the ball. And he was continually trending up the last 2 weeks towards being picked anywhere from 25-35. I just wanted that dude, especially when you watched his tape against Alabama.Gonna be key for a defense that had the ball run right down our throat last year

Bas, I got so excited for you when I saw they drafted Oladapo! Shocked they took 3 Safeties. But maybe they're planning on putting Bullard at Nickel. Gute has done an amazing job fixing up the leaky middle of the defense in this draft, imo. Good job, as always, Bas!! 😁👍

I really like Oladapo. Williams is a tackling machine who is everywhere the ball is. And Bullard is the hammer. Special teams might actually be special. Gutie is putting on a clinic. Critics are going to hate this draft because we didn't pick players we didn't need. You can only feed so many birds.

Nice call on this one I remember seeing him in a mock or two …hope he plays . Not sure but I see a lot of 50/50 on some of these picks due to the talent that was available at the time selected.

Myers has some competition now at Center!!!! Thats a great thing. Myers did look better in the second half of the season last year but still graded out as the 29th best Center in football. So competition at that position is very needed. And RG is up fir grabs and Monk or Morgan could possibly play there if Rhyan isnt that dude. I sure hope Morgan works out at tackle. Just being picked at 25 with 2 premium CB's within reach near that 25th pick. But is Morgan better than Walker? We all know he isnt playing RT unless they move Tom inside

For me it’s not about draft grades or what so and so days about a player. It’s about how that player fits onto this team. The last 3 drafts we could all say that the picks just make sense. We can see how almost every player drafted can be used on the team.

I wish we could see the Packer board now. I didn’t like Nubin high. Didn’t like Bishop at all. Didn’t like Gray at LB at all and thought Hopper was undersized and limited generally. Loved the South Dakota State OL guys and thought we’d take a WR at some point. I wanted a relatively high RB too and got it. Point is……wish I could compare with what the Pack liked and hated to confirm or review my own methodology.

Wow, everything sounds perfect according to these posts. I must have had a bad dream that Aaron Jones went to the dreaded Vikings, along with his career 5+ yards per carry, to be replaced by Josh Jacobs who averaged 3.5 YPC last season. And THEN, I dreamed that we passed on Butkus Award winner Payton Wilson at linebacker due to ACL concerns (even though Gutekunst stood at the podium later and said ACL injuries are no longer a concern due to modern medicine) and drafted Tyron Hopper instead who has coverage issues, only to see the Steelers snatch Payton Wilson a few picks later and pick up "A" grades on their draft, which Green Bay did not receive. I'm so glad that was all a bad dream.

This could be the third straight incredible draft by Gutey…last year was all about skill positions, this year is all about the core positions. Outstanding… Now give me Tahj Washington in the 7th, push Toure out of the back of the WR room, and let Gutey take his last favorite player at the end of the draft. Perfection.

I really did like our draft. Still not the biggest fan of the Morgan pick. It makes more sense now after the draft is over tho. Still just think there was a couple better lineman on the board at the time. Then the Hooper pick is just shit. Idc what no one says. He could’ve been there in the 6th. Jarrion Jones was the play there. Outside of that I think we got a couple steals and possibly a couple of the best players at their position. At the end of the day gotta give it up to Gute and the front office again. GO PACK GOOO!

No Kenny Clark insurance. No Stokes insurance. Other than that? No issues at all with this draft and I am trusting we see scheme improvements from those positions. Bullard gonna play some nickel? Should be.

No player in reach could be insurance for Kenny. The transition to 4-3 asks for a d tackler less than previously. Hope wyatt can be the man if needed. Also don't underestimate the fact that last years picks or the picks of 22 can transform given the accumulatation of experience. Not all players are ready to step in the line up. Some are draft and stack. So we need to review the draft in a rolling process of 3 years.

@@peted8750 to me DE/edge is different than DT/DI (defensive interior). Only 3-4 of those guys are big men. I would’ve loved another rotational big guy to stuff the run early/draw multiple blockers.

I believe Andy Herman was pretty spot on. He predicted Morgan , Cooper, and thought Bullard could go second pick for us. Love BAS also got this pick right at the back end of this draft. We are lucky to have a few Packers dudes that cover this organization. Not gonna mention anymore names out of respect to BAS. But this channel is my top 3 go to for info related to anything and everything with the best team team on planet Earth. The Green Bay FN Packers💪💚💪💚💪
