I love Goku way more than Superman, because I like Goku's concept more than Superman's. However, I still knew who was going to win this one, because even if I like Goku more, Superman is just bullshit. Basically, this fight is against someone that constantly breaks their limits to survive VS a man that basically has no limits and is astrong as the writers need to be in that moment. Seems obvious when you look at it that way.

i think that only counts for vast distances, if he can see where he needs to go he doesnt need to concentrate or find a ki source, like how he teleported while he charged up his kamehameha against cell

not exactly, though that is a very good point and kudos of thinking of that. He, and his cousin supergirl, regularly fight in space and on other planets, and has show that he can freely enter and exit black holes at will. for example, krypton has a much higher level of gravity from earth, and superman can funtion there well enough to be declared Cheif of police (he was filling in for Zod. it was a thing) for a better example, supergirl (roughly equal to superman) was able to survive and function without problem on the surface of apokolips. that may not seem like much, but the planet is millions of times the size of our earth at least (to the point where you could drown it by dropping it in a random lake on apokolips), it just so happens that most portals there adjust for size. we don't know the exact size, but the planet it and it's sister new genesis were made from were larger than the milky way, and darkseid is physically big enough to hold our planet in his palm (as hinted in his injustice 2 finisher), and logically the increased size means increased gravity, particularly since it seems to be a mineral-heavy planet due to being made of metal. and when i say supergirl functioned on the surface, i mean she was there WITHOUT a boomtube, leaving her smaller than an ant in comparison. Those are the planets he was 'planet sandwitched' between by the way even without that he has survived the literally infinite gravity of the universe being reduced to a singularity, then followed up by firmly telling death herself he was busy. they.... are very much underselling superman here. both characters to be fair, but a lot of the feats they mention in passing for superman are actually much greater in context.

he's gotten better at that since. considering he can now trade punches with his silver age self, giving and taking punches hard enough to shatter space and time across 3000 plus universes (going by the listed numbers of the overlapping earths and rounding down to nearest 1000), i don't think the infinite mas punch would phase him that much.

Batman with Ki is kinda irky. Doesn't an equivalent to Ki/Magic exist in DC? If Batman went through the trouble of mastering different martial arts, why wouldn't he try to master any kinda magic/Ki-power that exists in DC?

I would really like to see a crossover beteween DBZ and the Justice League, we could have a properbattle royale beteween the justice league and the Z warriors, plus it would be funny the reaction of the Z warrior to see other kinds of fighres like purely long range fighters like Green lantern or speedsters like the Flash. They put it threw the gravity formula first. They multiplied it by over 500 before they even put the SS multipliers in.

...maybe. don't get me wrong, sentry is powerful, being a parody of the silver age, and when written right it makes him a delight (or unbearable. depends). heck, he can sub-atomise people at will and survive the same, or even wipe them out of existence..... but superman has resisted EXACTLY that from top-teir DC figures before, with them admitting that wiping him out of time and space is just not possible. sentry can apparently match Galactus (though nate grey may have been involved) which might make him strong enough to survive the end of the universe as big purple did..... but not the ends of at least 52 universes at once, as we saw when superman survived the retcon of the new 52. granted THAT split his body and mind into seperate people, but his body survived. and his new, second body just got absorbed into the original anyway. Sentry is also a powerful telepath, but martian manhunter can read the mind of everyone on earth at the same time coherently and has trained superman to the point where even HE can't read his mind. take those away and reduce it to raw power and i'm not sure sentry can stand up. not when supes has nearly broken the mutiverse with sheer speed in a setting where the speed force exists (first appearance of warworld, first time he met the spectre), or punched his silver-age self hard enough to rattle space and time across 3000 universes (causing them to switch between versions of themselves) then received such punches in return.

There is literally no limit to how much solar energy Superman can absorb, so no matter how powerful Goku gets, Superman would still be able to surpass him if we factor maximum potential. Therefore its outright impossible for him to win a *Death Battle* . Outside of that scenario, its obviously possible for Goku to win.

@@Morten_Storvik so death battle only applies their maximum potential factor to one character in a battle. Applying the same logic but in reverse would result in Goku training as much as he needs to defeat superman at whatever power level he is currently.

@@muricabarneydeelan7372 No, they apply it to both. Goku is not "limitless". Superman *is* . Supermans maximum potential is limitless, Goku`s is not. Therefore its impossible for Goku to win a Death Battle against Superman.
