Dimash is from Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He sings in about 12 languages. He is learning Mandarin and English, and doing very well with them. I believe his mother tongue is Russian but stand corrected. I has performed lived in the USA, UK, China and other countries. I don't believe anyone can hit a whistle note like him reaching a D8 and could practically have all the dogs in the neighborhood howling and you can see that here - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q5tii6ea0cyaYmw.html - This song is an original of his called Unforgettable Day.. His mother is a professional opera singer and his father is a professional pop singer. Dimash started his journey at the age of 5yrs old and getting close to getting his Major in music, not that I think he needs it, but having it on paper is nice I guess. He plays several instruments and is just really versatile in his music. His mix of pop and opera has been called "popera." With his voice he can hit the lowest note of the piano to right off the piano.

Dimash is well-known for his dogged determination to work towards something he believes in, even though he faced challenges. He worked HARD in countless hours days months years of training to get that voice where it is now and he is still training. He has said that he will always have a voice teacher, just like his Idol Pavarotti. FYI he has degrees in classical music and pop vocals and he is now doing his Masters in Composing. And he has said that he wants to do his PhD. So basically he is experimenting with all sorts of genres now, especially in neo classical music.

Welcome to Dimash´s world. You now has opened Pandoras box. This man is the best that has happened to the world. He´s an angel. I´m a heavy metal-mother on 53 and I never thought that I should like this kind of stuff, but hey.... He is from Kazakhstan(neighbour to Russia) and started singing in singingclasses about 5 yrs old. He becomes 26 yrs now on May 24th. He was a guest competiter in the competition show "The Singer 2017" in China and so it is... Now the world is starting to know of him. He call his fans for "dears". There is a lot of songs that he sings that you can listen to, but I´ll here link to a song I like that not many recomend based on what I´ve seen. Here you can get a taste of how his voice could sound like in a rock/heavy song. Love this... Love all of his songs though.... ;) Pls react to this song and shout out my name... Thanks so much, for another great reaction - this guy is crazy!❤ If I didn't know better, I'd think those pure, crystalline high notes were in fact being sung by a cathedral choir boy - yet his low notes are so rich and powerful, that to this day my poor confused brain still struggles with the fact it can all indeed come from one person! I've been reading up on the phenomenon, and apparently some males who continually vocal train through puberty, still get their deeper voice, but also retain the ability to sing those high notes as well - however, I'm yet to discover any other guy with Dimash's range! The man himself has said that he has longer vocal cords than usual - and I think there may be some genetics involved too, with his being born into a very musical family, with a mother who's an opera singer and a father who's a pop singer/producer. But of course, none of these physical attributes would even matter, without a healthy dose of talent, and a lot, lot, LOT of hard work... in fact, about 20 years of it - so far! Still in vocal training (approx 3 hours a day), and the perpetual student (he already has degrees in both Classical and Contemporary Music, is close to completing his Master's in Composition [or would be if not for that damned Coronavirus], and then has plans to move onto his PhD!), he turned down offers of a career in Opera, to carve out his own path in music in a genre he calls Neo-classical - basically, a fusion of traditional and classical music, mixed with elements of rock, pop, jazz and folk to create a more unique and contemporary sound... Criticized and ridiculed for "singing like a girl" - even by certain so-called professionals! - Dimash hasn't always had it easy along the way, but he's a very determined/stubborn/ambitious young man, who (luckily for us!) has always had the wholehearted support of his family and friends - and look how far he's come! A mega-star in China, and an award-winning artist in Russia and the CIS, it's crazy how he's still relatively unknown here in the West - in fact, I'd go do far as to call it an absolute travesty! IMHO, he's the best in the world, and the complete package - not only does he have that stellar voice, he's also smart, talented, charismatic, good-looking, (to say the least - the man is GORGEOUS!😍), humble and hard-working, and has a really great attitude. I've been a Dear for almost a year now, and I still can't get my head around the fact he's not yet a household name, and/or being recognised globally as the superstar he so obviously is - in fact, if it wasn't for reactors like you, I still wouldn't have a clue who he was!😱😱 So thank you, for helping to get Dimash's talent (and that of other [slightly less amazing😉] singers) out there - it really does makes a difference!❤❤❤ (ps - please forgive the much-longer-than-intended, comment-turned-essay - oops!😂🤗)

Yep. When I first time heard him singing S.O.S. song, I thought it is a hoax . So I went through Internet till the morning to listen bunch of his other songs and back-stage clips from The Singer2017 😂. I also found out he didn't had enough big international repertoire at the time, and he (with help of course) had to prepare 10 songs in 3 month. And he had to impress them, otherwise he would be excluded from the competition. Opera 2 is song from Vitas- Russian singer well known in the China, too. Oh, yes... Singer is competition of in China well known singers. He was invited as a “wildcard”. The young foreigner, not established singer who at the time of this contest (2017) hardly spoke English. With his first performance (S.O.S.), he got huge numbers of fans in China and his career skyrocketed. (If you are interested in some backstage clips, look at Gloria Wu account... there you can find everything from Singer2017 with English subtitles.)

Opera 2 is a Russian song by Vitas. Dimash already finish 16 solo concerts in China, Russia, America, Europe and to his homeland Kazachstan.
