No one else can sing like that such a beautiful voice

Lou was/is a drummer, so i think the tamborine gave him an anchor and helped him with being the "front man" in a wildly successful band.

I keep praying that someday he might decide to teach. My number one vocal influence.

Thanks for reacting to this. My favorite Foreigner song, and I think you are the first to react to it. Thanks again.

This was 2 years before he fell out in Japan. Rushed back to the states for brain surgery. Had a huge tumor removed which affected him. Mick let him go. When he got his voice back, but the range was hard. He and his brother started a Christian Rock group called LGB (Lou Gramm Band) Hell a popular drummer had his arm cut off in an accident and the band had a special set of drums built for him to keep him. Def Leppard went on to make hit after hit! Mick Jones will burn in hell for the way he treated Foreigner!

Thanks for explaining when he had the issue in Japan. I’m reading his book right now, Jukebox hero - that song is based on him when he was a young teen! I love Lou!❤

Classic Foreigner sound. I like the song.

No pity parties here. Wow, I forgot how much I liked Foreigner. Older stuff like "Feels the First Time" and "Cold As Ice" were college listening. I probably shouldn't have admitted to that. :) Way too young for that. This was on the radio all the time in about 1985. Love it. Thanks Chad.

This is my favorite Foreigner song. But not the best performance. They were perfect in the studio recording. I think they know it to. They tried to simulate it to the audience. Much respect.

Well, that was a new one to me too. It was ok. Yes, nice to hear something different.

Best version hands down for this song. My favorite Foreigner song. Lou Gramm on vocals, Mick Jones on keybourd, Bruce Turgon on bass, Mark shullman on drums, and Jeff Jacobs on keyboard /synth.... Tight.

This was my Jam back in the day!! However I wish you had listened to the original track and not live. 😞 The live does not compare at all to the original. 👍

This sounds exactly like the song on the album. Lou looks much younger here than when I saw them in 85. I’m really trying to figure out when this was. Mick still had hair. Lou is hot as hell here! My 58 years have fainted away and I’m back at 21!

I'm not familiar with this song either. Lou is an amazing singer. "Urgent" is one of those songs I play as loud as I can stand. And the ballads are just gorgeous. 😊🥰 A while back I bought a Foreigner's greatest hits CD. Turns out I should have read the packaging closer, 'cause the group has a different singer now. No Lou means no Foreigner to me. I tried to give away the CD, but no one wanted it....

Thanks for reaction 😀 react to Foreigner : I want to know what love is ( official music video)

I have the old greatest hits from the 70s on 8 track. There's one you might like because the video is pretty good. It's called I Want To Know What Love Is. I think you'll like it. Also try Def Leopard with their kick butt and they're one armed drummer. That boy can go.

I remember hearing their music via my brothers playing it mostly. But it is alright. And yeah, people shouldn't dwell on past relationships. I still love the Brothers Gibb more, better singing. Don't roast me Foreigner fans, this band does have good songs, they just aren't my personal favorite.

Of course you can! This is a reaction channel-- it's what I do! But...non-Bee Gees, please. I'm so backed up with those, lol. Put them in the comments section or send me an email..thanks!

Your comments tells me you know nothing how to put it all together. I've played. As a studio musician🥁 Lou gram was given direction like we all were. It's a process. Enjoy
