the difference between zayn and liam is that zayn has more consistent high notes so you kinda expect it from him but then liam has more kinda range and his high notes kinda just come outta no where and as you said, sucker punch you

King says what lots of us been thinking. LIAM was always as good as/ even better than zayn some excellent pitched notes. And he could sing *everything*, it ain't only about high notes ffs. But zayn got the push preference for whatever reason.

Liam is a wonderful vocalist. He's a master of high notes, middle notes and low notes. He would give a magical essence to 1d. But he's so underrated and that's a crime.

Liam's a Baritone, Zayn is a tenor. So by nature, Liam can sing lower notes and Zayn can sing higher ones, both of them have crazy ass ranges. The difference is this, Zayn can do this 7:35 this is where Liam struggles, he struggles to sing high notes without falsetto, meanwhile, Zayn's that vocal beast that can do high notes with and without falsetto, switch instantly from chest to mixed voice to head, and give these heavenly riffs and runs. Both are crazy talented! 🙌

Liam has the widest range. But Zayn’s a tenor and can obviously go higher than Liam in his chest voice, as well as head voice. Although, when Liam uses falsettos he can go as high as Zayn. It’s the vocal analysts that say Liam has a wider vocal range than Zayn and also better technical proficiency. But they say that Zayn is a better vocalist in respect of public opinion. Either way they’re both classified as A rated vocalists.

At 9:20 Liam cryed, is was one of the first shows without Zayn and he missed him. Liam must sing the most parts from Zayn and this was hard for him, because all of them missed Zayn and Liam started crying on stage.

Actually, Liam had most of the lines other than Harry in the first two albums but once they found out that girls took more of a liking too Harry and then started using Zayn for his vocals… Liam started getting less lines. I honestly weird tho that he’s considered underrated cuz overall, he was still getting wayyyyy more lines than Louis and Niall. I’d consider him the best vocalist in the group if it wasn’t for Zayn or a very very close second to zayn.

Liam is considered to be underrated because despite his vocal range and how much he actually sings in live performances, he still had the least ‘directioner’ fans and would get the least appreciation in their music video comments or on stage.

Yes. Thank god someone mentioned it. He literally kills it with any note and any genre. One of the great things about LP1 is that you can see how he literally kills the game in so many different genres and styles. I've seen some of his notes in filmed shows, they are shockingly good. a tip, always keep your ears open for some rare one time vocal treasures by liam if you watch 1d concerts. no one notices them because the camera's always on someone else, but you'll never be able to unhear the rare vocal moments once you've discovered them :)

Zayn's a tenor and Liam's a baritone so technically there should be no comparison based on the fact that they are two different vocal types. But what makes everyone compare Liam to Zayn is the fact that he can go almost as high as Zayn and can do very low notes, crazy falsettos and his switch/transition into these falsettos is smooth as hell. He has vocal abilities that are completely mind blowing for that of a baritone, and so technically it is more difficult for his voice to hit those notes yet he can go almost as high as Zayn which puzzles people and tends to pitch him against Zayn. What he can do with his voice not being a tenor is just unbelievable. Liam's voice is a blessing to mankind and he should be appreciated for it without being compared to anyone else.

I entered this Fandom through Harry's music, but I've fallen more and more in love with Liam's vocals and personality every time he does something. He is still underrated vocally and as a musician and person.

Liam took over most of Zayn's high notes when he left while performing live and you seriously need to listen to some of his songs. The way he uses high notes as background vocals in some of them is CRAZY. Get Low is one of my favorites because of this.

I loved Liam from the day one. I always knew he was special and even more today. His range is huge, although I prefer his voice in low or middle tones, it´s really smooth and calming. And he is a beautiful and kind human too. They all are, but Liam is like the glue that held them together and I really appreciate him for that.

Finally! I feel so proud and happy right now! This video mostly focused on Liam's higher vocals, but he has a very wide range and he can sing very low too. His harmonies and falsettos are one of the most beautiful things in the songs and he always nails his parts in the songs and it's like people expect him to always be perfect but don't give him the appreciation he deserves for what he does, and he doesn't get enough credit for what he brought to the band. Actually they all brought something special to the band musically and characteristically and that's what makes One Direction what it is. I love them all so much and I'm so proud of the people they've become. Underrated kings:) Also I really enjoyed the video, can't wait to see more of your reactions.

Liam is insane he actually had the best audition out of all of the boys and showed consistently that he had the range and talent throughout his career. He wasn’t ever given the high notes in the studio recordings like zayn was but he always killed it in the shows. I feel like the reason he’s underrated is because his music stayed in the dance pop genre rather than showcasing his songwriting abilities.

I'm genuinely having such a blast watching this, when it popped up in my recommended I really didn't expect this video to be as amazing as it was! You're editing is top-tier too, I'm laughing my butt off for half of it (you being so proud at getting his name right had me rolling) and then solemnly nodding along for the rest with your great insight and all. Thanks so much for making this video!! It's incredible to see the boys getting love from all sorta of people around the globe. Liam especially, honestly, because he IS criminally underrated and on top of being just a stellar singer-songwriter, he's a truly good and bright person that has been through so much and still keeps on spreading warmth everywhere he goes. He's the only one of the boys that's still talking about 1d and interacting with fans all the time, and it breaks my heart yet makes me so so happy. Anyway, sorry for the ramble, cheers man!!

Just to let you know, if you go to a One Direction concert, you'll get a dad joke, a dance or a silly dance, funny moments, crowd interactions, sign reading, sometimes watching them falling, a breakdown from harry and many more. Istg 1D concerts are like no other. It's really worth to go🥺
