im sorry i love you reaction but i just wanna point out the irony @ 1:42 you said "i love how they let her do this" and this is her point. its not they let her its she can. this controlled kpop idol narrative that runs rampant in english media spaces to the point even kpop fans think it is also part of the same problems shes discussing. theyre not as controlled as people make them out to be a lot of them are speaking up about different things especially hybe groups and small label groups like g idle and mamamoo. i dont follow much big 3 groups but this narrative that they have to be let to do or say something lets ppl talk crazy about the idols. we need to think of our word choices so we dont unintentionally add to the problems. i suggest watching or reacting to bbygangmags videos about how the media twisted kpop especially in western countries for everyone to think idols cant do anything or say anything on their own leads to ppl treating them like objects/dolls. even bts said this past year "im fine going places without my manager.....people have stereotypes on idols they tend to think we cant do things on our own " and this extends to what they say too not just what they do/where they go. hope you get what i mean im not hating on you i just thought it was ironic that you said that.
