3 years ago, Pablo performed this song live... he walked off the stage, unable to finish it. It was a shock to A'Tin that he performed it in LA this year. We will never really know what Pablo was undergoing when he composed it. We don't even know when he actually wrote it. Like you say -- Depression? Lost love? Failure? No movement in their career? We can take lots of guesses from their various interviews, but he's the only one who can really say. Still, I still really appreciate how well the despair he feels/felt is communicated in this song -- the staccato delivery of lines (sobbing) "di ko ma-in-tind-an tinik s'aking lala-mu-nan" and the end part when he calls to the Father and thanks him, "Thank you, Father, that I can continue to fight what is in my mind which is being overcome by darkness..." because he still has hope... and yet it ends in like a wail (maybe because he knows that life goes on and so does pain). BEAUTIFUL POETIC LINES. GREAT MELODY AND RHYTHM CHOICES. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS.

Unreleased song waiting to be released 🙏😊 He performed this song at their GITZ (Get In The Zone) concert 3 years ago and broke down at stage and was so thankful to A'tin. Pablo grows up as a religious person and this song Kumunoy together with La Luna, ??? and maybe Ilaw was connected to his unspeakable thoughts he said before. Glad Pablo made it and continously inspiring and saving so many people through his music. Thank you for this RV ❤️

Kumunoy is just one of the proofs Pablo talks about during the early days of their career... the irony of him encouraging his bandmates to be proud of themselves and be at their best while he is hard to himself ,,feels being not good enough.. on point insights Wilson as always

This song hits me so hard every time! Can't help but cry with this one. His emotions are real, he takes me to that early phase of their career, when he experienced self-doubt and darkness The "Father", that he is talking to, was GOD.. He has moved out from that darkness because of his faith in God. Pablo is such a good storyteller, and I admire him even more for that!❤

The Father, Pablo's talking about in the song is God. He grew up in a religious family.

The Father Pablo has been referring to might be GOD, he already said it in an interview, that his faith in GOD helped him overcome his depression during the early yrs of their career ✌️💞💝💕🎵🎶🎵🙏🙏

Yes, you're right Wilson, Pablo has many struggle as a leader of the group and of his personal battle..If I can interpret it on my own personal point of view, quick sand because it's like drowning in your own failures or feeling self-defeated😢✌️🤔👍

Hi Wilson, thank you for this RV❤. It is definitely a battle, depression is a hard subject to tackle. The lowest of times he turned to his faith, realised that his family, friends and those who loves him are always there but during dark times we couldn’t see it. He sees the light and the depression going away through his faith and the people who loves him! A powerful song of drowning into depression and climbing out of it.....i love Pablo so much. I am glad he seems fine now😢❤

You're right, he is very poetic. When he studied AB English he learned about poetry that helps him in song writing.. He is such a genius. He wrote a lot of unreleased solo songs and new songs for SB19 which will be released this year. He is just waiting for the right time.

He broke down while performing this onstage. The audience continued singing for him. When he Thanked his father, he was referring to God as Pablo is very religious and thanks the Lord everyday. He shows this gratitude and blessing onstage when he engages with the audience particularly “Atin”, their fan base.
