Slight disagreement on the "typical" Lovebites song. The typical Lovebites song goes verse-verse-(prechorus-verse)-prechorus-chorus-solo section-verse-prechorus-chorus-coda, or AA(BA)BC-solo-ABCD. This song (at least the music) is by entirely by Mao. To me, this is the quintessential formulaic power metal song. Still, it's one of my favorite songs on the album: the formula may be standard, but the way it's filled is simply beautiful. I like the beauty of the melodies, how well one section leads into another, and the "flying" feeling in the chorus. Did you notice the keyboard sounded exactly like a violin accompaniment? The whole chorus has a 50s fairytale musical feel, and I love it. This is a fairytale song. The time change in the solo section also makes for a pleasant respite from the unchanging beat of the rest of the song.

Good try, but you don’t get rid of us that easily. I’m saying nothing about the song… it’s LOVEBITES, so words are either insufficient or superfluous. So instead I’m going to comment on the reaction itself. One of your best. I’m a bit of a miserable old git, and I don’t actually laugh (physically) much. But I did at this reaction because you two together are totally on my wavelength, humour wise. When you have reacted to the whole album, please play it all the way through and give us your thoughts on the whole album, because played through from beginning to end it is a remarkable album and greater than the sum of its (great) parts.
