Beauty and the Beast was the song choice of AGT, particularly by Simon Cowell, for Marcelito to perform on the finals. Had Marcelito been given the free choice, he would have sung "We are the World" in a multitude of voices (he revealed this in an interview with a local Network in the Philippines).

Watch the video of GGV remote challenge you will be more amazed of his talent. Marcelito should ask Simo. To come up on stage to perform with him by controlling the remote so tha t SIMON can see what GOLD talent he put down.

As a Filipino, I am proud and happy that both of you love and admire Marcelito. For me what the judges missed in the performance of Marcelito would his background. People may have forgotten that he lived on the streets and never got an education and yet vocal coaches who reacted to his performances only recognized how easily shifted from a female to a male voice with ease without going through any formal training which means he sang by merely listening to the songs he was copying and yet he performed it very well. People have even overlooked that he sang songs in languages he may not have understood yet pronounced them very well. It only tells us that Marcelito is truly a God-given natural talent. I do hope and pray that those who will vote in AGT will Marcelito a global recognition he truly deserves. God bless both of you and continue to support Marcelito and other Filipino talents.

Thanks for reacting to Marcelito, this song is not the choice of Marcelito although he is familiar with the song. However, his choice actually is to sing We Are The World to show that he can do multiple voices...but due to lack of time AGT team choose Beauty and The Beast! There was nothing wrong with Marcelito Pomoy singing Beauty and the Beast. Did you see the reaction of the whole audience? They were all cheering and clapping from stop to finish of the song. He sang it perfectly. He is already a winner no matter the result. In an interview, he said he has received numerous offers. Good for him and his family and God Bless You all.

@@KDarlings I think its only the super fans who can vote... but another unexpected mode of voting would be to go to the AGT website and compare the number of views. Marcelito is heads and shoulders (in such a shocking manner) above the next MOST viewed.
