Marco has been in this business a long time. He's somewhat a legend in Finland. His first band Tarot from 1984 with his brother, check out Tarot Tides live is a bit of a ballad, His solo album is also great. He's also has a number of side projects, Northern Kings, powerless Trio, Raskasta Joulua (Metal Christmas shows) , All Hietala power Trio with his brother and son. He also worked with a number of artists like Delain, Jonas and I, Ayreon (Theory of everything). He is such a versatile vocalist.

Tuomas told that this is one of those songs which they are not going to perform live anymore. This is so personalized to Marco’s voice. Same with the song from the New Album, Endlessness.

The reason that Marco is great on this song is that he is expressive & heartfelt; even without knowing that he suffered from depression anyone could hear in his voice the authenticity of feeling.

You're right. This is real music and that is withheld from all of us by radio stations around the world. If we don't look for and discover ourselves, we wouldn't even get to hear something like that. Actually this is not really a Nightwish song. Tuomas wrote it for the film Lieksa/The Matriarch. "The Matriarch - full movie" on YT. English subtitles available, very handy for those who do not understand Finnish...or Vietnamese. Lieksa is a town in Finland. There is also the official music video to this song with clips from the movie. Someone told Nightwish put this song to the setlist when they played in Paris France, (not Paris Texas lol), soon after the terrorist attack to the Rock Club Battaglan(?), correct me if I'm wrong with the name. Was there almost 100 people who died? Many other bands cancelled their concerts there. Edit: Bataclan, 89 murdered.

Marko HAS been a frontman…he’s been the frontman for Tarot since the mid-1980s.

BTW Troy is using an E-Bow with his guitar. That's how Troy gets those sounds from his instrument. My only problem is that this song is too short. It could easily be 3-4mins longer especially because in end they just got grooving
