Great Reaction again :) Check out the Schandmaul Song ,,Euch zum Geleit,, it's a Farwell Song. My Father Died 2015 and on his funeral service zeromonie the Priest are qouted from the Song Text. Thats was Heartbreaking but sweet

Pirate drinking song? Sounds like "Drink" by Alestorm, They are a pirate themed band from Scotland. The first line "Der Teufel hat den Schnaps gemacht" (The Devil has created the Schnaps [Schnaps is internationally recognized for clear hard liquor isn't it?] was the title of a sucessfull German Schlager (our infamous happy-go-lucky pop version of folk music) by Austrian singer Udo Jürgens in 1973 and it became a saying, used if one has a serious hangover or acted stupid while being drunk.
