Surely we have learned something since then. 'Paddy isn't a thicko' any more. Anyone who thinks that acting like the travellers will get us far, isn't right. We have developed a great island for ourselves why go back, instead of forward. By that I don't mean for our people to turn into marshmallows or softies. What the young ones need to realise they cannot run riot in the streets, wrecking buildings, half killing people including their own. Any protests need to be silent. No roaring, bawling or screeching either. No hysterics either. It is far more effective to stand together and stare. No explanation to them is necessary, in fact no words are needed at all. I have been alive for 70 years on my island. To be honest I don't feel particularly safe. I'm sure there are thousands like me. Don't get me wrong but when I was younger, maybe I would have belted someone across the back with a brushshaft. Who knows. But I'm very much older and wiser. You don't get anywhere with violence which is intimidating but our strong men and women can certainly stand in the way of this plague, from God knows where, silently staring at these people and if they are intimidated, great stuff. Stop working full time and paying tax , try and cut back on c\tax , don't use delivery for food unless you know they don't use a\s etc , check where your milk comes from etc , be careful not to get a fine and save some money , check who's making the leaflets , buy paper and pens and make them yourself with carbon paper

I grew up with genuine refugees & this young woman's English is far too good for her to be genuine, she's either lived in Ireland or the UK for quite some time & wasn't at all hesitant, or afraid to approach a grown man on her own. Makes me wonder what's going on with her, but I highly doubt it's legal. She had too much front for a lone woman & it appears to me, that she was sent out to confront Niall by person (s) who were looking on, but refugee she certainly was not ! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧

She's part ofnthe Eastern European invasion into Ireland in the early 2000s when the EU opened our borders to all EU citizens. The law was they had to prove they could sustain themselves and be working. It didn't play out like that though. They soon caught onto the welfare scams they could get away with. Worked for cash and claimed welfare, rent allowance, and free medical. Eventually they moved back home and either sold their PPS needs to other scammers. Others were flying back to Ireland once a month on cheap ryanair flights to collect their welfare. Local authority Houses were being sublet to other Eastern europeans etc. Etc. It was a massive ripoff of the Irish taxpayers. All facilitated by our corrupt government of course because the dogs on the street knew what they were up to. Many Irish lost their jobs to scammers working for cash and claiming welfare and rent allowance at that time. We were being told they were doing the jobs the Irish wouldn't do. Weren't we so lucky they came here to save us. We had no coffee shops, nail bars or phone shops before they came!!!! The extent of the damage done to Ireland at that time was massive. This individual is an example of the ungrateful parasites we are left to deal with as a result.🙏🙏🙏🙏🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

When i was in the catechism class the Irish nuns were giving us all the lucifer’s lip salve and satan’s slapstick lecture. A really old English woman said you shouldn’t tell young girls it’s a sin to want to appear attractive and she was swiftly grabbed out of her chair and frog marched out of the room. She’s a silly mad woman children. Even Portillo admitted on the radio that he wasn’t put upon for being gay, as every unmarried couple was stigmatised for living in sin. That’s not the whole reason for the low birth rate, overcrowding, contraception, inflation, recession, depression, austerity and return to subroutine, plus no jobs and no homes, but it helped. I'm a 53 year old Irish man living in London 30 years l can't return to Ireland and receive any benefits, I must wait 2 years before I'm entitled to any benefits so I must have a job for 2 years in Ireland or have enough savings to support myself for 2 years, then I can claim benefits, I'm on sickness benefits in England I can't work so I can't save any money to last me for 2 years in Ireland I was sent back to England in 2012 by welfare officer in drogheda given a one time grant of 500 euros to go back to London with my children and wife as I was no longer entitled to benefits the reason I came back to Ireland is because I couldn't find a special needs school in London to meet my sons needs , however I did find a special needs school in drogheda that met my sons needs I rented a house then made a claim for benefits a was told I didn't fit into the new habitual residential conditions for Irish citizens, which are if you leave Ireland for more that 2 years your not entitled benefits for 2 years after i returned to Ireland so i had to go back to London and my son was put into care and went to school in Kent away from his family I can't work anymore due to ill health I can't return to Ireland I'm to sick to work can't get benefits so I'm left stuck in England forever but anyone can go to Ireland and get benefits except Irish citizens themselves I was told to go live in Northern Ireland by the welfare officer in drogheda I took the matter up with local councillors in drogheda they told me there was nothing they could do ,I was a high earner when lived in Ireland paying 52 percent tax in the early ninetys but I.get nothing in Ireland

Habitually Residency status is being incorrectly applied in this case and many cases. Print out this act from gov website and go through it with a fine tooth comb when you do this, you will find this..., paraphrasing here ' if you have lived in the UK consider it to be the same as living in Ireland' so it's illegal to deny benefits to UK residents returning to Ireland when they quote this Act as a barrier to receiving assistance.

Steven dont mind the dole office telling you that they lie through their teeth. Habituall Residence does apply in this case but fill out the form and on the additional notes section say due to a desire to return to Ireland (Country of birth) you have made the move. If you have family in Ireland state you want to reconnect and hhelp them, the office will call you within a week or two when they do just confirm what you said. Within the form there are questions like "why did you come to Ireland" just answer born here Irish native.

This is happening right now in the United States. I am homeless and can't obtain housing assistance with the market rent being out of control. Yet, illegal immigrants are being put into brand new apartments and houses in my state and across the country right now. What about Americans? This is creepy to know it is happening in Ireland too. I bet any countries that are allies with the United States this is going on. Thank you for letting us know. These illegal invaders get assistance from the government because they start having kids so young. I won’t have kids until I can care for myself. So our government is taking for these people and what’s worse is their anchor babies are considered citizens. I can’t get section 8 or housing assistance because they prioritize women with children, and I don’t have children. So these illegals with anchor babies are taking housing away from young Americans keeping us from starting families of our own. It is completely criminal and treasonous.

I entered a hotel in cork airport to us the toilet, when I was leaving, I was approached by this foreigner asking me was someone else in the toilet? I replied that I didn’t know. Me, Irish blood, English heart.....it saddens me to see Mums homeland going the same way as England. Within a decade, white British kids are forecast to be a minority in Englsh schools. The Irish people have seen the way its gone in England, where less than a third of our capital city is now white British. The Irish government is following England's route, despite seeing what a disaster it has been.. this has all happened in my lifetime, against the majority of the publics wishes....our cities are now dirty, dangerous, unfriendly and alien, its a tragedy. They have also educated this generation to be ashamed, rather than proud of this country's achievements so the future is pretty bleak. We have given our country away for no good reason, and its tragic to see the lovely Irish people have this foisted upon them.......

I'll be in England tomorrow and landing in Heathrow and on to hayes, and I will be lucky to see a few white English people. The last time I was there , must be 5 or 6 years and it was spot the white. These people need to be investigated. They were only permitted to travel here if they had work and enough money to sustain themselves. If they were unemployed for more than 3 months they had to leave Ireland. If it is found that they didn't comply regardless of when they need to be deported immediately. @@MsPeeps75 HI Peeps, I visited your country last year on my motorbike (Australian) and travelled from Cork south to Dungarvan, Skibbereen then the Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast stopping at Doolin and other spots before heading to Athlone and then south for the ferry to France. I was taken aback at how many foreigners had taken up residence in Ireland, either as refugees from the Ukraine or illegal immigrants to Europe now being shipped to youir country. It was a struggle in some areas to find staff in shops who were actually Irish, completely different from my last trip in 1999. Why does it matter, because the Irish nation will lose it's identity and it's history which might I say is a great history. I travelled through a small village somewhere near Kilkenny and spoke to local bloke who said there were more Ukrainians in the village than Irish locals. I told him I reckon half will not go back to the Ukraine, why would they, you have law, roads, functioning hospitals, electricity etc. Best of luck to the Irish in the future, but leave the EU and get rid of that plomker of a Prime Mininster you have.

A massive sense of entitlement. Thank you for exposing the way that Irish taxpayers are being taken advantage of. If you are in need of social housing in Ireland or the UK (and you are Irish or British) you will be on a waiting list for years. New arrivals get everything given to them on a plate. Hotels, homes, food, benefits, healthcare, dentistry. Most of them are not fleeing persecution - they are economic migrants. I grew up with many Irish people who came to work in the UK in the 60s and 70s - they built our infrastructure, and in my area, contributed to the horse racing industry. They worked, made a meaningful contribution - they didn't expect - or receive, the kind of political largesse that's provided routinely today.

Too late. Every country in thee EU has had unrestricted movement from within the EU as well as non-Eu countries, plus some EU countries have taken in hundreds of thousands from the Middle East and Africa, all who have access to an EU passport. Individual countries are losing their unique sense of identity, They've lost their currency. They've lost their borders. And you will lose your own culture. Won't be long before you have the same scenes that happen abroad such as mass praying on street corners.

We had to leave Ireland in 2008 with our 6 children because we couldn't afford to live there. We reached out to the dole for assistance but we were refused. America has been very good to us and we worked our way back to financial health

Being from Donegal myself I enjoy keeping up with what is going on at home.
