One gag that everyone seems to miss, from the Scout's verse - holding up the Christmas sweaters on the line, "My beats bring the heat/'Cause I'm a sweet double-jumper". Double-jumping is the technique the Scout uses to very nearly fly across parts of the field. And a jumper is the British slang term for what we Murricans call a sweater, especially a turtleneck sweater like the ones the Scout holds up.

I think you missed the engineer line where he said "I've got a hundred degrees" the song used it as a temperature, but it also had a double meaning of engineer having a hundred college degrees. Also, during the entire song there were several mentions of hat names such as "Greased Lightning" (which the scout is literally wearing as he was singing it)
